Just want to let you know we are very close to having an RFP ready for distribution early next week as part of the Mid Atlantic Buyers Pool. This should be able to be sent to any dealer you want when ready. As you know, best deal so far is with Stephen's in WV. Thanks and I'll keep you posted.

Any update on RFP? Cochran guy called me yesterday and want to send to him.

Funny you should ask. I have an opportunity overview ready to go and RFP should be next week. Can you send me his info and yours and I can send to both of you? Or, how would you like to manage? Also, anyone else who has a dealer please let me know their contact info and I can send to them as well. We have a master dealer list started and I can add them. Thanks

Does anyone have an update from local dealers? Washington Ford has not responded at this time.

Unfortunately been playing phone tag with regional mgr at Cochran. I’ll try again today.

Nothing. Based on limited communication and feedback from local dealers I am going to be switching to Stephen’s. They have been very transparent this whole time thus far. Completely understand if folks want to stay local though.

Does anyone know how many reservations their dealer has, and what number they are? I have an early August local, and late August Stephens. With the recent news, I may cancel and reserve again, to get a 22MY.

Also, do you all feel comfortable ordering a new vehicle without test driving and possibly not even sitting in one or seeing one in person? I’d hate to get cold feet at delivery and back out, which would hurt the dealer.

I just found out i’m bottom 50% out of 120+ reservations at washington.

Interesting. Keep in mind people may switch to other dealers and/or not order. I have a 7/13 reservation so I believe I am in good shape wherever I go, but I could be mistaken. I am also OK not seeing the car in person and/or riding in it, but again that is just me. You definitely need to do what you can to make yourself comfortable before hand. Maybe worst-case scenario if you don’t like it, you will be able to sell it used and not lose any money.
