Afternoon everyone! Just got my build date 3/20. Badlands non-sas, soft top, high package, 2.7. I'm one of the unfortunate group that had to downgrade to better my chances on getting one this year. Anyway, can't wait. Whats the first thing i absolutely must do to my bronco?

Congrats on the build date! Start looking into any rock rails you might like is where I’d start!

@G-ROD Bronco I really mean if you want them to also function as a step. I got the IAG ones and kinda wish I’d gotten rockslide engineering so I don’t have to remove the steps before heavy off roading

I gotcha. I actually added the hoop steps to badland sliders due to the wifey and two kids complaining getting into our current rig.

I'm actually the opposite, I ordered a set from JCR and the pics made it look like they didn't stick out very far at all. Perfect for using them as actual frame mounted sliders, had nice contours to deflect rocks and whatnot, hi-lift jack points and built in rock lights, didn't care that they had very little area to use as a step. Finally got them in, mounted them up, and they might as well have been dumbass running boards, and now it's even harder to get in and out for me and my family. Now they understand why I didn't want to buy steps. Gonna chop those stupid long mounting legs down about 4" and weld them back on when I get some time, until then I'm just going to cruise around looking like a dork with outriggers on my Bronco I guess

Drive it home LOL
I'd say learn how to use forscan, get rid of some annoying stuff, get all the goat modes, etc.
Probably follow that with a 7.3L conversion, portals, 54" tires, you know, usual stuff...

@Tex I was thinking 44" but wth....go big or go home

@G-ROD Bronco Yeah, it always starts with modest tires like 44's, but whether we want to admit or not, we're all heading to 54's sooner or later...

I would recommend waiting until delivery before buy expensive accessories. Or pick them up on big sales
Rock slide engineering steps. Wife hit a jersey barrier, 15k damage and only a scratch on the steps
