So far I'm just doing the simple mods. First were the Clamber side steps. Wife approved. Yesterday, I received my second Bimini top and this one is the bomb so far. Its a "Rerpro" brand that was only $30 and twice as nice as the Mabett for $50. I really like most Mabett products but the straps and magnets were a fail on my Bronco. The Rerpro with the Bronco top down reminded me of the early to mid 70s when I had the pleasure in driving around in a 1968 Camaro convertible 327 3 speed AT. It was a blast and the Bronco was a blast and still is! It's like my 2020 Colorado ZR2 Bison diesel, ever time I drive it I'm smiling on the inside if not also the outside.

Yesterday I also added the Bro FLaps and these are really nice mudflaps and go on pretty easy. The kit supplied what look like stainless steel bolts and quality hardware.

Since I bought on March 18 I've also added the hood lifts the soft top cargo area lifts, seat covers (not a fan of the cloth seats it came with).

What I would like to add is the modular bumper and then a winch. No one makes any winch love for the plastic bumper that I've found. A couple of companies, say they may look into it. (Mabett and IAG)...but right now it looks like a new bumper or maybe rough country's hidden winch. Not a fan of cutting parts off a new vehicle.

I've got the DV8 MTO front bumper, and it works well to house a winch in a hidden fashion. It's bulky though. They have since built this additional one, which looks less bulky: https://dv8offroad.com/collections/...6th-gen-bronco-winch-front-bumper-spec-series

I was stuck on the idea of a completely hidden winch in order to have minimal impact on the front camera's view, but I think the ideal would actually be to prioritize the bumper and winch and then relocate the front camera accordingly. If I had my time to go over, I'd try that.

@BobN - USAF can you post a pic or two of your new bimini top? And is it worth installing/having if one is primarily using a soft top?

@pandapaul I will just show it do you tomorrow in Perry, GA, if you are going. I didn't take any photos of it. It seemed to be pretty good. I've only driven with it at up to 60mph. Anytime you open up the top and it is very sunny, I would think this would be very practical.

@pandapaul but in the meantime. Here is what I bought from Amazon https://amzn.to/42pY87s There is a good overhead picture of it. This one uses bungees which was way better than the Mabett with adjustable straps in my opinion. Mabett also used magnets on the front corners which didn't seem to hold well enough on the road. With this RERPRO, I do have to undo two bungees to allow the front locks to engage but that's all. When I put the hard top back on I will have to see how that works or not. Driving to Perry today so I will see how it works under the top. Doubt it will improve road noise. Of course, I don't think the soft top is all that loud anyway.

Oh yeah that definitely looks handy for sunny days, especially with the summer heat coming up soon. I'm torn on whether to attend the Perry event tomorrow. Long drive, and I'm having trouble convincing my family to come along.
