Well hello ladies! I am so glad there is this group now! The testosterone on the main page was getting a little much at times. Well, I am a previous Jeep owner, converted, coming from the dark side, lol. Can't wait to get myself that beautiful Bronco. I currently reside in the lovely sunny Washington state

Welcome! Yep the testosterone is off the charts this week that is for sure! Hopefully the B&P will calm them down. I live in South Texas and can't wait for my Bronco and I think this vehicle will be a lot of fun!

For real! I find all the topics these boys run on fascinating and hysterical (both the funny kind and the over the top kind). In truth though this forum has been amazing. I have followed it almost 2 years now and I have learned a TON! And I totally get some of the anxiety. Ready to just get this darn thing built and in my driveway!!

@Texas Sunshine Yup I started following(lurking) in Nov of 2018. Everyone in my family has multiple jeeps of some form so we are kinda loopy about our rigs! ;-) I was uber close to pulling the trigger on a Rubi in 18 but decided to put all the chips on Ford bringing back a classic. finding 6g just solidified that for me. I couldn't love this whole mid life Bronco crisis any more! ha!

@corey07 Well I hear about you and the Jeep thing. Had a Jeep and I sure did love it. But my husband had me trade ? it in for a more car that's hard to find here in the states. Thought about getting a new Jeep, but the new JL didn't impress me.

@Michiewy Ditto. Same reason I held off the JL. Just didn't feel right. I just borrowed my dad's 53 CJ-5 a lot to get the fix!

They had a driving topless thread too that I actually joined in on the fun. It’s funny to watch them squirm. I dont have a reservation so I dont know how long this wait will be. I was dead set in getting a Gladiator this year before the Bronco was announced. And I’m definitely waiting for a Bronco. I just hope Ford can deliver.

I'm 58 so I have passed my midlife and moved into the advanced crisis!

@Texas Sunshine I love that you’re getting what you want! I just turned 50 and plan on this being my DD even though I work from home and it might not get too much DD. ? I briefly thought about what if I have trouble getting in and out of it later down the road but my husband assured me he’d give me a boost.

@buckthis same here. My practical side keeps tellling me I dont even need a car anymore. But also just over 50 and feel like I would like to have one fun newer car. I gave a convertible but it’s a 1990, so maybe something fun and reliable

I'm a bit high strung and I think my kids(25 & 34) are excited I'll have a vehicle that matches my energy. I just hope I can get the doors off without help. I understand they weigh 50lbs each.

@Texas Sunshine Oh those doors are comin off! LOL. 50lbs is heavy AF, but I'll get it done. I cannot wait!!! I have an image of my two dogs strapped to seat, and we are off the grid with no doors or roof. I'm soooo excited. Age is just a number ?

I had to have my dog put to sleep last February but I'm going to have to get me a "woman's best friend" next year. I have that vision too! No roof, no doors and dogs in the seats!

I'm 47, so I'm going to call this truck my mid life crisis. The kids are at school (college) most of the time. Hubby has his hands full virtually teaching, so me and my dog are on our own. The dog is a lazy old thing though, and has the nerve to avoid having the wind in his face. He'll learn though because this does well be off as often as possible!

My 4 yr old grandson is 40 lbs, I think I can handle the 50 lb doors. He is gonna LOVE strapping into his booster seat and riding the roads with the doors and top off!

Seeing a trend here lol, 48 now... The Granger Oct deal had me tempted so I could take delivery for my 50th

@buckthis I will be up since it will only be 9pm and I almost just what to see the boys all shit their pants when the site opens late or crashes. It could be fun.

My mortgage will be paid off in spring of 2022, so I promised myself a new vehicle. I was thinking Jeep or pickup, but my 20-year-old has a 1970 (my avatar) and the coincindence of the Bronco coming back just at the right time seemed like a sign from the universe to get a Bronco. (Side note, I grew up with two brothers and three boys nextdoor. I'm an outdoor girl, so I played with them since my sisters were always in the house. So I am used to the boys' nonsense. But I really appreciate a side chat away from them once in a while.

I'm the youngest of two brothers and a step brother and my best friend growing up was a boy so I understand! When I had my first child (now 34) I wanted a girl so bad and I got one! A bronco is perfect for a tomboy.

Lol ? I’m definitely staying up. Going to take a nap though. I’m 36 years young today, yes, but I’ve been up since 4:30am. Lol ?
