SHOW ME MO BRONCO

Trying to get all Missourians into one group to chat and share Bronco stories and experiences!

Doesn't seem like this group is getting much action. Or maybe it occurs elsewhere. I'm located in central MO and looking to join up with other Bronco owners and hit some trails and enjoy the community.

Yeah, the Missouri page on this forum is not great.

What is the closest offroad park to you?

Stl, also interested in some group offroading. Most of the clubs I've seen around here are exclusive to jeeps.

@Jwow62 CORA (Christian Off Road Association) Stl is pretty active. They have a Facebook page.

Fellow Missourian here, specifically CoMo. I’d be down for some light off-roading. Picked up my 24 Outer Banks last month. I know, it’s more of a on-road option. But should still be semi capable

Might seem a little odd but Central MO Jeep (CMJ) is having a topless event this Saturday. Starts @ 10am at the Pierpont general store. I joined awhile back but haven’t done any events yet. Obviously pro-Jeep but most seem cool with the Bronco too. We plan on being there.

@nolimits Yes I saw the bad comments, but there were others who liked it so I am optimistic. It was on sale and I got it for $180 shipped so not a huge loss if it doesn't work out. I am hoping if I have issues I can modify it and make it work. After looking at several, the CA Brief top is the one I like the most for the rain coverage so I figured I would take my chances. A few days ago the Rollnjack was on sale for $400 with free shipping. I couldn't pass that up.

@drtinphx for $400, I may need to reconsider my hoist/lift situation. If I had a nice spacious area like in your photo it becomes a no brainer. We moved out of state and due to the crazed housing market at that time we felt lucky to get the house we did. My biggest complaint being a 2 car garage instead of 3 bays like my last few homes. Hence part of the reason for all the reorganization.

I currently back my Bronco in and wife parks normal. She is closest to the door leading into the house. Would the lift you bought be able to lock in high enough that I could continue to back in? If so I may be able to make that work. There is a possibility we relocate in 1-2 years so having something I can take is a plus, if it fits.

@nolimits Unfortunately that sale ended so they are $650 now.

As far as your garage situation, if you do a search for Rollnjack you will find several photos of people jacking it up and parking underneath of it. It is possible it may work for your setup, but I am not sure.

@drtinphx it was really good to meet you as well. I’m glad you came out and had a chance to do this event. Hope your wife can come to the next one. Hit me up anytime if you want to do some exploring or just hang out and shoot the crap. I will send you a PM with my mobile. šŸ˜Ž
