Tomorrow is the Horses and Harleys event at Bayside Harley-Davidson between 12 and 5 pm. Bubba's 33 will be there with food and there should be some live music and games! We should have a pretty good time there!
Next weekend (the 22nd), is the NC Bronco Club off roading event at the Uwharrie National Forest. This event will have three choices of trails to include a beginner trail, intermediate, and advanced trail. Remember that they recommend spare tie rods for the advanced trail and others have recommended to just upgrade your entire steering rack to make sure everything is sturdy.
I will likely be on the intermediate trail. I am upgrading my tie rods this weekend (hopefully) so there is a chance I'll hit the advanced if I'm feeling confident. But this event is for EVERY experience level. From never seen a gravel road to having crawled up a mountainside. I HIGHLY recommend attending this event because it is the perfect opportunity to experience some off-roading with experts making sure everyone has a good time and learns something while also being as safe as possible.
I am leaving for the event Friday afternoon and staying in a cabin 30 minutes from the trail. Others who are headed down there Friday are more than welcome to cruise with me!! It is about 4.5 hours from the VA/NC border and I am leaving around noon on Friday and coming back up around 10 or 11 Sunday morning.
