@Montana Bronco Thanks! Most of it was put on by dealer (Not the cursive bronco on the side or the window tent tho.)

I am 44 years old and I have never rooted for a specific ball team, do not care to get involved in politics, and choose not to participate in social media of any kind. But this year I can say that I identify as a Bronco enthusiast!

It is interesting that my wife and kids think I am crazy, because my time at home this year has basically consisted of nothing but watching YouTube videos about Broncos, and accessories to buy. I recently received a very nice black and white picture of a Bronco with a horse, as most of you probably have. I proceed to show it to my wife and daughter with the excitement of a child showing off there selection in a Christmas WishBook (Dating myself a bit, but I did notate the advanced age earlier), and there response was why would you frame that picture and what is the big deal! I said to my wife "Did Toyota send you a picture when we bought your 4-Runner!"

No rubbing whatsoever.

Km 718 with 0 offset and 2 inch lift on 285 75r16 tires. I found it hard to find much on a zero offset base setup so sharing if it helps determine poke!

@Srt-cuatro Just a touch of rubbing when hitting a hard angle and bump. I still have the crash bars in though.

Yes, I had them shipped to Pep boys where they installed larger tires on my Bronco Sport last year. Apparently the old manager was fired for doing such things so the new one refused to put anything not stock size on it. I ended up going to a local tire shop (used tire warehouse) and they had no issues with it. They even bought my stock tires which only had 1400 miles on them. I called another local shop and they had no issue doing it either, so I chose the one that had the cheaper install price.

May I ask how much they paid for the 255/70/16s?

I put chrome overlays on the grille letters to my Base. At first, I kind of regretted it (I thought it was too shiny). But it eventually grew up on me.

The bottom pic shows what the grille letters looked like before.

Before and after application of Ford Bronco letter overlays color matched to my Cactus Gray Base. 4mm coated, 3M adhesive backed letters. I'm happy.

What are y’all that still have the stock wheels/tires doing for spare tire covers? The diameter of the 255/70R-16 tire is just over 30 inches. It looks like most of the nice spare tire covers with Bronco related designs and a hole for the rear camera (including the ones offered by Ford) are for tires with diameters of 32 inches and up.

Funny you ask, I saw a Base yesterday with what really appeared to have the stock tires and it had one of the Ford Accessories tire covers. Maybe by 32", they mean that they can cover up to 32" tires?

Purchased from CJ Pony Parts and advertised as 32" cover. Fit for a Base 16" wheel and tire is perfect. Can't seem to include a photo. Part # was TC45. I've had it on since the end of January and no issues.

I've read that the many Broncos have had a recent software update, but my last one was about a year ago. When I check the app and my Bronco sync screen it says I'm up to date, but I was curious if anyone else has had an update in 2023? I have a 2021 Base.

The last one I received was January 11th of this year. It was the pre Alexa update.

I think I remember some others saying the same thing. The one before the Alexa that I received was June of 22 also.

So, I replaced the stock 16” “Steelies“ and tires.
Now, WHAT IN THE H3LL do I do with them?

I sold 4 tires for $300, but can’t sell the rims.

@tongsun3717 I will likely be buying NOKIAN TIRES HAKKAPELIITTA LT2 for my SAS. I've ran them before on various cars, and I've been happy with them. It depends on what size you need. Did you change your lift? Do you need stock tire replacements?

Hi everyone. Just joined the group. I swapped out my wheels and went with 33 KMC and the besttop sky rider. So freakean awesome to have the soft top with the back cap on.

I sold just the tires for $250. Throw them up on Craigslist and FB Marketplace and you might get lucky.

I put 33s on my base bronco a year ago. I’m wanting to get it lifted and still debating between a 2 inch lift and a 4 inch lift. Would 33s look too small on a 4 inch lift kit? Down to road I’ll probably get 35s eventually as well. Any thoughts would be helpful.

2” should be sufficient for now as well as 35s

A picture would help. Are you still running stock base wheels? True 33s like 255/85R16 (33.1"), or wider 285/75/R16 (32.7")? The tire width and the offset of your wheels will make a difference with the amount of lift, but I agree with jrod5k, 2" should be sufficient for 35s, unless you want to spend (a lot) more for the look and capability.

From base to based. Pretty crazy before and after. Picking her back up today and cant wait!

Bought a set of Wildtrak wheels today and transfered the rings. Much better in my opinion. So there will be some sasquatch wheels going up shortly in the marketplace.

Now Ford does not take new orders for the Base trim for 2023. What will be the consequences to us the Base trim owners? Is the Base trim done with its marketing mission?

I do find it really interesting that they shut off orders for the base, at least for now. I feel like the take rate on Base was low, but that's just what I see on the a daily basis on the roads. For what you get, I paid $31xxx for my base and thought that was a steal. Same build is now 35ish, which I think isn't bad. Who knows, just happy I got mine!

I wonder if they are just going to make the base models and send to dealers so they have some available that are not already spoken for. That is what I did, was look for a base that was at a dealership that I could buy right then.
