Are there any plans anytime soon for a local meet up to connect and maybe make plans for a trail ride?

New owner of a 23 Badlands 4Dr, wanted the Sasquatch package but no dice. I’m trying to copy the look thru some mods. Thinking a 2 inch lift and some spacers. I’m new to modding and the 4X4 community.

Do I reach out to shops asking for the above and a quote? Or are they used to more experienced owners who bring the exact parts and specifications with them, then arrange installation?

I have the complete Sasquatch shock set up off my WildTrak that I would be willing to sell ya. I also have RPG Perch Collars which will raise it another 1 3/4" made for the Stock Sasquatch shocks. Rears have 8000km, and fronts about 5000km. Everything in pristine condition.

Can i get this collars? If theyre still available. Are they for the Hoss 3.o?

I want to sell as set with shocks. Sorry. You can get them separately from RPG. Check to see if they work with the Hoss 3.0 though. Call them. Talk to Christian. Tell him I sent you.

Anyone in the Lower Mainland have a car audio place they’d really recommend? I have “trust issues” when it comes to this sort of thing, and am looking for a place that really knows what they’re doing with modern vehicles.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I know a great guy that I can give you the info. He does all the Ford dealerships in the Lower mainland for stereos, dash cams, lights, or any other electrical issues you have. PM me and I'll give you his name.
Also, you should join our Facebook page, as most on the Lower Mainland communicate over there.

@Bad_Bronco Thanks. I actually found a place in North Vancouver that’s highly recommended and have done multiple Bronco’s. Can’t wait to get the new sound system installed!

Diamond Audio in Maple Ridge. Theyre stellar. Truck, bike, home audio.

Quick question about the "Sumas Mountain Trail" - I want to check it out, as it is one of the closer/easier trails near me, and shows up on the new Bronco Trail App. It appears at the trailhead there's a gate - Does anyone know if this gate is typically open or is it usually locked? I don't want to head out there and be disappointed.

Thanks!

Oh, interesting. It shows up on the Bronco Trail App, albeit as an easy one. Thank you!

I believe the gate is closed overnight. I’ve only ever driven up to the upper parking lot for a hike. Don’t think there’s much for off-roading up there.

I ended up heading up there tonight anyways. The gate at the top was locked, but it was still a fun drive up with the wife.

what are you replacing them with?? Will be doing a set like the ones on mine soon for a 4 door, and will be selling them. Price will be around $800 + depending on finish.

@Bad_Bronco Went with the GOAT Fab with top plate. Lots of great reviews!

There not bad. A little too pricey in my opinion, but all the sliders in the states are pricey.

Hey BC folks - I'm not knowledgable in the slightest on radios, but am looking for a good GMRS handheld radio. Which ones do you use or recommend? I don't want a piece of crap.

Thanks!

Has anyone had their windshield replaced yet? Or have recommendations for a quality glass shop to take mine to in the Lower Mainland? My Bronco gave me a cracked windshield for Christmas and it’s been slowly making its way across since then.

Haven't got one yet (i know its coming) but if you bought the New Vehicle Protection plus insurance through icbc they will replace with a ford windshield if available and waive deductible.

I've gone to JF vision in richmond before and they do good work. i think the hard part is how long it might take to order in a new windshield these are apparently in short supply everywhere
Bad_Bronco
Bad_Bronco
that sucks Jason.... when you get your new windshield, you may want to consider getting Stek Dynoflex windshield protection film put on. Did mine over a year ago, and that film has saved my windshield at least three times from flying debris.

Hey everyone, I'm a member of a ton of Bronco Groups on FB, but none specific to BC and 6th gen, so I made one. I know there is a BC Broncos, but most of the content is 1st - 5th gen, and I think that now there are more than just a few of us rolling around BC, we should have our own group.

If you're so inclined, jump on over and join. I'd love to get some discussions, pics of what people have built, maybe event planning and more, happening.

Hey Everyone,

With the Hot Wheels RLC Bronco being announced I'm a RLC member and will be able to order a couple of these if anyone wants one and is not a RLC member. If its not limit one per person I'm more than happy to order some for people and have pick up in Vancouver.

Unsure of release date but I'll keep you guys posted.

Hello again everybody. Curious if there’s anyone on here that is interested or knows someone who may be interested in getting aftermarket leather installed in their Bronco? Specifically if it’s a Badlands or Black Diamond. I’m trying to get my hands on some OEM upholstery for a custom project in my own Bronco.
I work at United Automotive Interiors and could probably hook someone up with a deal if they’re interested. They would get new leather installed, and I would get the parts I need.

I posted a similar request in a couple other places on the forum, but haven’t had much luck yet.

I might, but I have a Big Bend with cloth not vinyl. DM me if it might work out.
jasonkosi
jasonkosi
@BVan604 there’s a few differences between the cloth and MGV/leather backrests so they won’t work for me. Worst case scenario I can just use my existing upholstery but it would save me a lot of hassle to just get another set of covers. Hit us up though if you’re thinking about putting leather in your truck anyway!

Hey all. Wondering if anybody on here has a Ford tailgate table they don’t want/use and would be willing to sell? I currently have the molle panel on my tailgate, but would get better use from the table. Figured I’d ask here before ordering one from the parts dept. Thanks!

Saw my first Braptor today in Maple Ridge, actually ended up seeing the same one twice while running errands. Would’ve loved to have parked next to it to see a size comparison cause it looks so beefy going down the road, I feel like mine would be dwarfed by them. 😂

I saw a orange/red one a few times this month. On the Hwy we were next to each other for a few km. Its definitely bigger than my Sas. Badlands by about 6" taller and the width is crazy about 10" wider
Its a beast. What stung me a bit was my wife said why didn't I get one , she really liked it. The Raptor wasn't even a option when I ordered my Bronco.

Hey anyone interested in an OEM roof rack? Upgraded to the TrailRax TRMR rack so my OEM one is just sitting around taking up space... Fits both 2dr and 4dr. $450 and in the Kamloops area.

Hey all,
Just though I’d share for those who may be interested. 4WD Association is having a cars and coffee this Friday (Oct 7) at Cabelas in Abbotsford. Starts at 7pm. I’ll most likely be there, if anybody is up for an evening drive it’d be nice to see some other 6Gs there.

Little adventure from today, tried the Thurston loop (Chilliwack river valley area) for the first time. Not a super difficult trail, but there are some moderate sections throughout, steep hills and amazing views. Highly recommend giving it a try, don’t do it though if you’re afraid of some pinstriping.

Hey, future friendos.

I'm picking up my BL in a couple of weeks (on Vancouver Island). Eager to explore some trails nearby. Is anyone looking for a tag-along or wanna DM me some recommendations?

Been trying my luck over the last year or two and keep getting my wings clipped by forestry gates.

I just took my Bronco down to Coastal Beaches to Long Beach Washington (world’s longest driveable beach) and Oregon Coast

The Bronco sure gets a lot of attention - many people checking it out! 👍

Hi gang - looks like my 2.7 OBX is scheduled for delivery in a couple weeks. I got impatient and ordered the 2" rough country lift kit. Any suggestions on a place in the lower mainland that would install it for me AND still give a warranty on the work?

I'm also trying to sus out some 35" tires/wheel combinations. Any of you do upgrades, and are happy with the mix of low road noise, and off roading ability?

Hey, I just had Budget Auto Centers in Langley (96th) do my 2" Zone kit today. They were awesome, and were excited to do some work on a Bronco. The owner i a 4x4 enthusiast and has Ford trucks himself, so he was in to it. They did the lift and alignment and did a great job.

Update (a few weeks late) I took it to Lowriders. an hour into the lift install I got a call and they told me the CV bolt on one side was stripped halfway up the threading and a replacement CV was going to cost $500. I said "well I brought in a brand new Bronco to you, and so either it's something you guys did or it was a build issue, in which Ford should cover it but why do I get the feeling I'm the guy who's going to have to pay for this in the end"

I posted pics on this forum and on reddit in an auto mech subreddit and the consensus seemed to be that they likely messed it up at Lowriders. But those guys wouldn't budge a dollar on the final price. I offered to cover half the cost, but I wasn't able to get my Bronco out of there without paying the entire $500 extra. Even the guy at 1010 tires where I took it after to get the new tires and wheels put on was surprised, and HE gave me a discount on his labour, which he didn't have to do.

I'm currently waiting to hear back if Ford is going to cover it, but at least the service manager is telling me he'll work with me if Ford says no and get me some sort of value back (he's hunting down a modular bumper and/or a hard top for me to buy)

All this to say, my experience at Lowriders was not the greatest.

Take to Lowriders for a Lift ??? Isn't that a oxy moron?? lol.... sorry, I couldn't help myself.
Sounds like you got a bum deal, and that sucks.... I wish shops (if they caused it) would just be honest, and take responsibility for their actions.....

Apologies in advance if selling isn't allowed here or if you see a duplicate message in the other Canadian groups. Not having much luck on the main marketplace forum.

I'm selling the rock rails off my 4-door Badlands (brand new) and OEM Badlands rims (will be 1 week old by the time I get them swapped out). Asking $350 for the rails and $600 for the rims. Pickup in Surrey or I'm willing to deliver within the Lower Mainland for a small fee. Thanks!

Thanks @604Bronco, I've already posted on FB and will do CL soon :). I think it may just be because so many folks are still waiting for their trucks so I may need to just sit on them for a bit.

Is that the standard rims or one of the optional ones?

Piggy backing off of this. I have my 5 32" Duelers for sale from my OBX as well as the OEM wheels (minus the TPMS) if anyone wants to buy them. I'm happy to let the wheels go for 300 total, and the tires for 600. 800 in total for all of them together. (less than 500km on the Duelers)

I can’t get over how many Broncos I see in Kelowna. Everytime I go into town I see at least 3 or 4. The other day I saw 7 in one afternoon. Down in the lower mainland I go days without seeing any at all. I have seen 3 others just at the resort our cabin is in.
