Doesn't seem like this group is getting much action. Or maybe it occurs elsewhere. I'm located in central MO and looking to join up with other Bronco owners and hit some trails and enjoy the community.
New member here with a 2022 4Badlands Sas. I ordered a 2021 and waited for it quite some time ago. I have had it for a couple years now. It was delivered in June 2022. It isn't used as an everyday driver.
It gets little road time. It has a 2" lift/level and 1" spacers along with Oracle Lighting aftermarket lights. Yep, I went through the missing overhead relays. I want to replace the LED headlights to install along with an RTR grill and QuakeLED trail lights. Yes, I know. I admit I have a problem. The vehicle is blacked-out but it isn't sneaky.
Sneaky abandoned me when the AWE muffler arrived. It is much louder than factory. I suffer much muffler-shaming. My son tells me his class can hear me drive by the middle school. I am certain it is only when I get caught at the stop light and require a standing start.
I want to take off the fifth wheel and replace the hardtop with an aftermarket fastback for summer. However, I have a grill and trail lights waiting to be installed. Does anyone has strong opinions on aftermarket headlights? I am leaning towards the Oracle Lighting halo inserts for the factory LED headlights mostly for cost. It wouldn't take much to talk me into demon eye though.
Might be a long shot, but anyone in the KC area (Lees Summit here) that might be willing to swing by for a quick garage-fit test? Finally have a build date for my 2020 reservation, and the wife is getting anxious about the garage space.
Happy to compensate w/ a sixer of your favorite cold beverage or similar.
See classifieds if you are interested in tac 3" steps $60, badland takeoffs with tpms, tires etc. $1000, or want to trade or sell your non sasquatch fender flares for my sasquatch flares.
Well I finally got mine yesterday. 803 days after putting my reservation deposit down. She's a beauty and drives smooth as a baby's ass! The get up and go power of the 2.7 is fantastic.
Well I finally got picked up and got my VIN/build date! YAH! Now comes the extended waiting...booooo! It only took almost 2 years. Reservation went in Sep. 30, 2020.
OK. Yes i know what they are for. But? Really seem pointless if you grab it -your face is about 8inches from the airbag. Are there any de letes on the market to make a more usable spot
This past weekend My family took a trip down to Ft. Smith Arkansas to visit my oldest child. We had one day with nothing on the schedule while we were down there, so I wanted to take the opportunity to get the Rig off-road. So I asked the NW Arkansas group if they had any suggestions for nearby trails.
In doing so, one of the members decided to join me and the fam on our off-road adventure. He is a great guy, and helped me not only find a good trail but he also taught me a lot of the ins and outs of my rig. I would suggest to any of you who have a half day available and are in the area to meet up with some of these good people and enjoy a really nice trail in NW Arkansas. Also, this sort of inspires me to want to get together with some regional people in Missouri for some kind of Bronco off-road get together.
Right now most of my weekends are booked until mid October (coaching youth sports), but eventually this Fall/winter/Spring, would anyone be interested in meeting somewhere within a couple hours of KC to do a little wheelin? if so, any suggestions on where?
Anyone order and take delivery through Clements ford previously Marshall ford in O’fallon? Haven’t had much communication with them since placing order, but just wanting to make sure they aren’t charging admin fees. Thanks in advance!
