@forest1081 Yeah, someone added the Bronco Club thing after the other one was up, so just trying to keep everyone on the same page, literally! You'll see rallys and what-not pop up....

Use just the Northern Illinois title...that's where you'll find everyone.

Hey for those of you who have taken ownership, do you get any rattle on a cold start? I think there's something in the engine bay (haven't taken enough time) that just started to rattle with the cold, but seems to go away after the engine warms even a little bit.

Thinking I should poke around for something loose

I got the rear set of Ford splash guards for you guys. Don't work with the badlands rear bumper and I can't find a way I want to modify them.

Let me know if interested

Took delivery today! Wanted to shout out Paul at Rock River Ford. Super guy to deal with through the entire process. Changed my order twice and they were always helpful.

Just curious is anyone in the Northern Illinois group has received their Bronco yet.
Mine is "in production" but has been for two weeks now so I am not sure what the status really is but I am just curious if anyone in the area actually has their ride yet.

Is anyone here familiar with the Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail? I really want to do this in the Bronco!

There are a lot more youtube videos, just not sure how to do it and where to go, especially interested in planning places to stay, don't want to camp in the wilderness, I prefer cabins and hotels.

I also happened upon this park.

I'd like to do these things with my family and also find other family friendly people to go with. Thanks!!

I switched to a soft top over the weekend. Send some good vibes my way through tomorrow. I got this weird good feeling going on.

Chicago guy, was originally contemplating a Big Bend but after careful consideration and a constant desire to get the hell out of the urban area, changed to a Badlands.

New to off roading, but excited to take this thing out next year (hopefully), go camping, sight seeing, and enjoying the open road with the top off.

Hope to get together with people here to pick their brain and learn more about off roading.

See ya out there.

Welcome! I went from BB to BL also. I factored in benefits and price of BD and BL, as I wanted the MGV and rubber flooring, and eventually the BL won out. Mine has been in Chicago area rail yard (Blue Island / Gibson in Hammond), via CSX / IHB, and now, I believe BNSF. Not sure what stalking the railcar does for me, though. Should be getting delivery at Granger in IA in a couple weeks. There are a couple offroad parks within a reasonable drive, but for most offroading, need to go to Michigan, Southern IL, or Redbird in Indiana, as far as I know, in the midwest.

Looking forward to hitting Lake Michigan shores from IL, IN and MI

Anybody heard good news from their dealer yet? My said they're gearing up for orders but don't have pricing yet. Also has mentioned coming in to place it, which I want to avoid given the whole pandemic thing, but we'll see

From Joe Cotton dealership today in response to my email; "I will be calling you next month to come in and place your order. They should be arriving early spring. We just got our first Bronco Sport in."
So thing are moving along, although I wish it were quicker and maybe even yesterday. I just have to practice patience and keep saving for the down payment

I'm looking to buy a velocity blue 2 door black diamond with mid and sasquatch package. Pretty sure it will be my daily driver. The blue is in honor of my first truck. A 1979 F150. This will be my third Bronco, but I haven't owned one in 20 years. I'm pretty excited about it.

I’m going for an Area 51 4dr badlands with the 2.7, hard top, and high package (maybe lux). I love the look of the 2dr but I will be trading in my F150 so I want the extra space in the 4dr. I am choosing the badlands trim because I wanted the washout interior for my dog and any other mishaps and I also wanted the high package. If the outer banks had the option for a washout interior I would consider dropping down to it to save some money since I’m not sure how much off-roading I will do yet. This will be my winter daily and possibly my only vehicle if I decide to sell the mustang as well.
