Hello all, Donnie from Asheville area, looking to make Bronco buddies, keen to driving off-road and what not! Looking forward to joining the group and hopefully getting to some in-person activities.
2 Door Badlands SAS just got scheduled to be built, July 2021 reservation. Walterboro Ford, not sure if I will take delivery or not, pretty happy with my JLUR. Anyone make the switch and have any regrets? I'd like to get to 2 doors, and I like the 2 door Bronco size wise better than the 2 door Jeep. Just not sure with surf gear, mountain bikes, etc. I can/want to make it work.
For the folks in the triangle area - what Ford Dealership/Service Dept. do you use? Went to Capital Ford the other day for a quick question, did not have a good experience and was turned off. Can anyone recommend a shop?
If anyone is interested I have a Dometic CFC 55 for sale. A few scuffs from in and out of truck but other than that it works perfect. It will hold a temp of 3 degrees and up. Only selling because I’m a distributor for Blizzard Box now so I put one of my demos in the Bronco. I’ll tak $750 for it. Paid $1200 a year ago.
Anyone in the NC Triad area that can recommend a Ford dealer that does decent transmission work? I’m in Winston but willing to travel some if needed. My 7MT is making the dreaded synchro noise, a bit hesitant to let just any dealer work on it based on some of the comments on the general forum and 7MT threads. Thanks in advance!
Finally. We are so stoked that we finally got our Bronco. Like most of you, we waited for 2.5 years. We cannot wait to start trail riding and doing meet ups. Anyone from Raleigh in here?
We should have a Carolina Bronco meetup. I keep seeing all these post of meetups and it just looks like a great time, plus it's rare that I see another Bronco, so I'm anxious to see a bunch of us ride out together.
Hi all, Im looking to take my BL off road for the first time! I'm considering going to Brown Mountain which I read that it's more beginner friendly. Does anyone know the actual trail difficulty and completion time? What hours are not packed? Do you need to air down?
If you have any insights I'd be happy to take them
Hey everybody! I'm in Fort Mill and just received the bronco last week. Like everyone, it was a long time coming, but glad to live in the south where we can drop the top in November! Hope to see you all on the trails in the future.
Mine has "SHIPPED" so does it really take three weeks to get from Michigan to Myrtle Beach? Beach Ford originally said like a week, now my salesman is playing the fool, saying it might be Thanksgiving . . .

Estimated time when done: 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m

⁃ Great trail. The lower falls trail is super short and it's a really nice view. ( Est.45 mins)
2nd Stop: Graveyard Fields to Devil’s Courthouse (6 mins)
Devils courthouse is a great stop on the blue ridge parkway. It's only a short hike up to the viewpoint but it is some decent elevation gain. The trail is mostly rocky at the top but otherwise pretty manageable. Wonderful views from the top that just about anyone can get to. (Est.30 mins)
Glad to be a part of the group and hope to get out with everyone soon, still waiting for a build date!
I have been wondering though and trying to navigate this ever changing market and I was starting to wonder if anyone recommended a certain Carolina Credit Union or what they ended up going with to get the best rate?
I keep hearing Fords rates have been getting pretty high and the longer I wait the more they go and the more I’m trying to figure out what I need to do to get the best rate? I have excellent credit (800+)
Joining the group as FINALLY have my 22 Outer Banks! Hi everyone from upstate SC! Not sure I have a lot of time to get out in the world these days, but I definitely want to try! Enjoy all of your pics.
Anyone in the Charlotte NC/Rock Hill SC area have a Forscan or Superchips Flashcal? Trying to plan out my approach to tire upgrades and ultimately thinking SAS takeoffs. Ensuring the speedometer is correct after the upgrade is a must for me and I’ve seen posts in other Geos where guys are offering the use of their device or even to help out in getting everything set up for $30-$40. Curious if we could get the same thing going on this neck of the woods.
