Anyone in the Charlotte/Concord/Huntersville area interesting in bringing their Bronco to Cars and Coffee at Charlotte Motor Speedway on 2/19? It would be pretty cool to see a handful of Broncos out there. Cars and Coffee is held the 3rd Saturday of every month at the speedway.

I think the Bronco looks better with some snow, dirt, and grime on it. The past 10 days, I have had more people stop, point, look, and chat me up about the Bronco. Good times for sure.

Just found the group and joined via the website...cheers

Nice 2 door! Can't wait for mine to be in the snow, that'll be next winter though! I am seeing more and more Bronco's where I live (4 in the past 3 days) and one of those I did 'stop and point' as I was walking with my kids. Have fun!

Hey everyone!

Brand new set of 5 Bronco Sasquatch Wheels and Tires!
Taken off with less than 200 miles on them.
Come complete with all TPMS sensors

Mint condition on all wheels and tires!

$3000 or best offer.

Willing to drop off or meet halfway for those that are at a reasonable distance!

Only reason I am selling these is because I bought aftermarket wheels/tires almost a year ago waiting for my bronco…did not think I would get lucky enough to get a Sasquatch bronco so soon! If I didn’t already have my aftermarket set…I would definitely be keeping these!

Good Afternoon & Happy New Year! Patiently, or not so patiently waiting on my girl to be delivered to my dealer. Tracked it on CSX rail - apparently was offloaded in a yard and now waiting to be transported to the dealer (Town & Country Ford) in Charlotte from there...dropped off 12/30. ETA was 12/30-Jan.2nd at latest to dealer as of yesterday ETA was bumped to this Friday the 7th - this morning it shows the 13th...Is there a way to track it once it is offloaded from the railroad to find out who has it or where it might be now?!?!?! Appreciate the help.

@mj21_OBBronco nice. Sadly I've been waiting since October to be be built. Kept getting pushed back. Now going on a month since it was supposedly in production and no info as it's built or shipped. I bought a bunch of stuff as well that I'm just waiting to install. Lol.

Has anyone been to Uwharrie with their Bronco?
I need to do something for mud flaps to stop small rock chips but want to ride out there from the Triangle soon.

I'm not far from Uwharrie but I have never been. Any trails for beginners that you can go enjoy some scenery without tearing your shit up? I have to get it paid for before I can afford to fix stuff.
Ilmguy1234
There is a lady in the facebook group for URE that has been tearing it up there with her new rig. I actually think she messed up her bronco there. I'll see if I can find the thread.
Coach.major
@Ilmguy1234 I saw that video, she was hitting mud holes running like 40mph lol! I am trying to do the opposite of that without getting made fun of for not giving it hell. Would like to keep it looking new for a while at least.

I’ve been there twice with my Jeep. There are plenty of easy to moderate trails. Wolfs den and Rocky Mountain loop are pretty easy. Keep in mind, you’ll probably scrap some, but it depends on your model of Bronco and how you approach the obstacles. Dickey Bell and the front side of Daniel are the hardest trails at Uwharrie. Keep in mind, a stock Bronco sport can do all of the trails there so I wouldn’t stress to much. There’s normally enough people out there to help out if you do get stuck.

Also, it’s closed now but if you want to head down in April when it opens hit me up. I should have my Bronco by then and I’ll head out with you. Probably get some other folks to head down as well.
Tarheel_Wes
Awesome running into @MooreNC yesterday at Home Depot, he was nice enough to let me run him down like a psycho in parking lot to look at his A51 Squatched BL. Great rig man.

Badlands non-SAS (didn’t like the SAS wheels/tires). You’re lucky if yours isn’t higher in the rear than the front. Most are; especially SAS since they have more extra height in rear than the front. But I suspect there is some variation from factory in this first model year :)

Pic above is from August. Clearly sat an inch higher in the rear, measuring either at frame or fender clearance. But it’s good now with a little “level” added to front.

Anyone near the Triangle planning to take off their Modular Bumper? Might be interested in taking it off your hands.

I am in Asheville, I'll be removing mine soon. I'd be interesting in selling it for sure. I have the replacement bumper in my shop and should have it on sometime early January. We can try to coordinate meeting somewhere, if you are interested and willing to wait a little bit.

I'll also be removing the skid, so you'd have that as an option also.

Can't commit until I have my rig. Likely mid February at the earliest. If you find someone else earlier obviously jump on it. Does yours have the sensors built in?

Starting to plan my first trip with my Bronco, any good trails (preferably with camping) in Western NC? I know about Uwharrie but I'd prefer to be in the mountains first!

Look up Old NC 105 which has good scenery and dispersed camping along it.
Shinoko
There is Hurricane Creek west of Asheville. There are a few campsites halfway through. It's nothing too technical, but there are a few washouts and narrow sections.
jsully10
jsully10
@Shinoko would I be fine to do that with a pretty stock big bend?
Shinoko
@jsully10 I've seen videos of 2wd trucks making it through. I would expect so, but I don't know the specs that well for the BB. I was in my Badlands Sas and it was overkill for everything. It's not terribly difficult unless it's really wet out and there is nothing requiring a ton of clearance.

If the timing works out, I could meet you out there and go with. I wouldn't be able to camp but I could at least follow along to the campsites.
Suke996
Anyone looking for some Factory rock rails from 4 door First Edition? Need some running boards and can’t find any that will work with the rock rails. If so, make me an offer. Perfect condition and ceramic coated. Bronco has 460 miles. Located in Mooresville NC.

@Bunk M - hoping to pick up my OBX this week. What sort of whistle did you have and how did you get it fixed. I see you are in CLT. Which dealer did you get it from?
Bunk M
Bunk M
The grill on the Bronco OBX causes a wicked whistle in the cabin. I got my Bronco back in July, in August Ford identified it as an issue with a gasket in the grill that caused it to happen. I would "assume" the ones coming of the line now have this fixed. I went to CrossRoads when Ford send out the fix. Worked perfectly.

Nice Ride, Troutfisher9216! I have the roof rails and MIC top as well. Do you have any issues getting the front panels out from between the rails and frame? Mine keep catching and it's a VERY fiddly process getting them in or out. Enough that I ended up taking the rails off for the winter...
Troutfisher9216
Troutfisher9216
No that hard really. After you unlock the panel sit in the seat and push up and move the latch in the front corner back to the locked position when it’s away from where it mounts on the roof. That makes it easier to manipulate to get out.
