Hey does the guy from Visalia have a business or phrone number to reach him on? The Ford truck website won't let me dm him without entering a credit card 😂

Hey, the ZooDad on Ford-trucks.com. Didn't work for you? He did say he was going to move out of state I wonder if he did?

He is still on the site I just checked, are you a member of Ford-trucks.com? I don't have his cell phone number. I got a hold of him on the truck forum.

Hello 👋

In addition to B6G and social media platforms, we now have cencalbroncos.com

B6G is a great site for sixth generation Broncos but we have folks with other generations and don’t want to exclude them.

Our community is small but growing, drop by and say hi if you’re interested.

Hi Central CA Bronco friends. I have a bunch of FREE Bronco parts that I'd like to donate / giveaway to a good home. Please help, so that this stuff doesn't go to landfill. I paid real $$ for this stuff, but I'm happy to give it to folks in this group to make their rigs even better.
  • Ford - Heavy Duty Modular Bumper (standard on Black Diamond, Badlands, and First Edition)
  • Baja Designs - misc wiring kits for fog and chase lights
  • Midland Radio & Weboost - misc parts: 2 antennas, wire kits, Mountains2Metal antenna mount
  • Warn - fairlead, winch hook
  • LOD - A pillar light brackets, trailer hitch plug bracket
I'm in Santa Cruz (Live Oak) but could meet in a reasonable midway point or bring the items to a future club outing. DM me to coordinate!

It's absolutely fantastic to see such generosity in this forum!

That's awesome @menikmati

I was thinking.... there is a motorcycle forum I hang out on that has a "Good Karma - Free Parts" thread. I was going to donate up a shackle license plate mount, and see if the mods would be cool with making that a regular thread somewhere. Problem is, my garage is currently getting a "makeover" and all my stuffs be in boxes in a pile. Anyway, that's my idea. A "Good Karma - Free Parts" thread. Rules are:

- Items must be FREE
- Reasonable shipping costs are allowed, unless local pickup.
- An interested party must call "DIBS" in a reply to the post
- "Second DIBS", and "Third DIBS" are allowed, but be reasonable.
- It is expected that the "Dibber" contacts the OP swiftly to arrange pickup/shipping
- Backing out, is allowed and not a bad thing if done for a reasonable reason, Second Dibber is up next, lather rinse repeat

Think this place would go for such a thing?

Oh, and don't need any of yer stuff, but I'm in Boulder Creek 1/2 time. <wave>

I'm heading over to Gilroy / Hollister area tomorrow to hand off the bumper to someone from our group. Ping me tonight if anyone here wants any of the other parts from BD, Midland, Warn, or LOD, and I'd be happy to meet up or deliver them to you!

Tocquerville falls in Southern Utah. Good off road trail. Rough, but Bronco can handle it with no problems. Beautiful waterfall at end of trail

We had a pretty decent turnout last weekend at Summerfox in Clovis. There are a number of platforms that folks are using to group up: B6G, BN, Facebook, Instagram, and even just word of mouth. And we are looking at trying to put some trail rides together once the mountains and weather permit.

I didn't get any pictures of the event as I showed up late and just plain didn't think of it until the end. Here's something that a participant shot as they rolled in.

I have been wanting to run Dusty Ershim, it's been 10 years since I done the whole trail.

@Snacktime I haven't run it but would love to go this year. From your recollection, what do you think the minimum requirements would be for the 6g?

Anybody ever do any trails in or around Zion National Park? Looking for some feedback or experiences. I have taken my Big Bend to Mammoth, Oregon and now Nevada and Southern Utah are next.

Newbie here, purchased my 2.7L Badlands 4DR non-SAS soft top in late August from North Bay Ford in Santa Cruz.

Minor interior upgrades so far. Tow package and Rock Slide Engineering step sliders are on order. Not sure what comes next, but looking forward to getting off-road and enjoying the ride!

My job sent me up to Hollister Hills for a day to train on a Kawasaki Mule. Believe it or not, still intimidated to take the BD down there. Down to go, but a complete newb in anything other than side by sides.

I believe i have seen you around Fresno, you might recognize me as the Bronco that looks exactly like yours LMAO

I recently dropped by Lotts Auto Stereo in Santa Cruz after pondering audio upgrades, and decided to replace my stock non-B&O system with:
  • Focal PS 165 FSE tweeter (dash) + midbass (kick panels) separates
  • Audiocontrol LC2i Pro line output converter
  • JL Audio MV1000/5i amp with DSP
  • JL Audio 8" ported sub box
  • JL Audio DRC-205 control knob
  • [did not touch the rear pods]
This transformed the stock audio from meh to hell yeah! I actually enjoy listening to music in my Bronco now, with the soft top in any position.

The team at Lotts also installed a WeBoost and a set of Baja Designs Squadron ditch lights and Baja Designs S1 reverse lights - all wired to the Bronco AUX switches. Very clean installation all the way around, and I'm super happy with how things turned out.

If you are considering audio upgrades (including WeBoost and CB/GMRS radios) and don't have the tools, garage space, or electrical wiring skillset, give Dave and Dan at Lotts a call!

Hubby has been looking for a 4WD club that isn’t 2+ hours from us.. He and some of his family used to belong to one 20+ years ago and we can’t find anything active near us except ones that are ‘Jeep Exclusive’ 🤦‍♀️🤣We’re between Merced & Turlock and seems all the ones we found on FB and off-roaders.com seem to be inactive.
anyone have suggestions?

Hello everyone! I recently switched from the OEM soft top to the Bestop Trektop. My reason for switching was some damage to the OEM soft top. Insurance paid for the new one but there is nothing functionally wrong with the OEM top. It still keeps out rain just like before.

I would like to sell this soft top for $1300. It would be easy to repair the cosmetic damage plus at this price, you're $3000 below the brand new OEM soft top price and $500 below the Trektop price.

Yes. All trails lead out of the sandy flats area. Strawberry is the easier of the trails with Coyote Lakes being hard and Mirror Lakes the hardest. Strawberry Lake and West lake are on the same trail with West Lake the first stop. Coyote and Red lake is the same situation with Red Lake the first stop. Mirror Lake is by itself and is the shortest. So there is only 3 Trail heads. Everyone has different opinions/ratings on these trail but they are not super tough compared to the other Sierra trails in the state. However they are fun with great scenery and close for us Fresno/Clovis people. Strawberry is a low risk option. The other two trails will most definitely leave their marks on the under carriage and possibly top side too if not carful.

I guess it depends on what the hard trail is. The "extreme run" says it requires 35s so we'll see but I didn't sign up for it since I'm on the standard Badlands 33s.

I'm planning to arrive sometime around 4pm.

I should be up there early, going to hit the morning run then decide. You spending the night or doing a day trip?
_jeff
_jeff
I’m planning on staying the night. Since you’ve been before, perhaps you could enlighten me. Does everyone just find a spot somewhere at Base Camp there on Rock Creek? I’ve got a more secluded spot closer to the lookout tower but if the events are focused on that side, then I’ll likely just stay at Base Camp.

PM me if you’re interested in meeting up at all.
_jeff
Is anyone interested in wheeling up in the Sierra National Forest this weekend?

Haven't ran Midnight Madness since 2012? I moved south (Tehachapi/Mojave) and just came back north again. I wouldn't mind running swamp or Dusty this year after my Black Diamond shows up.

Ok cool. Did you go sasquatch? I was reading somewhere that said swamp lake required 35s but I really want to hit it up as well. I'm on the stock 33s but I also don't mind scraping a bit – it's what the protection is for after all.

After buying my 2022 Badlands which was a cancelled order at my dealer (The Ford Store Morgan Hill) I have decided to cancel my reservation/order for my WildTrak. It is scheduled to be built June 6th. Just got the VIN number yesterday. If anyone is interested in trying to buy this baby you should contact my sales guy, who by the way is a real decent human being, James Sanchez at 408-782-8201. This was a hard decision but I have fallen in love with my Badlands!

Heading up to Shaver Lake, CA this weekend and thinking of hitting Bald Mountain trail on Saturday 5/28 or Sunday 5/29. Anyone around and want to meet up for a trail run?

My build is a Sasquatch badlands and I’ve gone off roading about 5 times with it, but definitely not a veteran off roader by any stretch of the imagination lol.
