Kansas Bronco Club

Kansas group for all things Bronco!
Mo’ Money Mo’ Broncos
Just found out about this group! I ordered 2/5/22, built 10/14/22 and took possession 11/2/22. $50 over invoice at Louisburg Ford. Badlands, non-sas, mid package, 2.7L. Did Stealth X ceramic coating and front window tints to match the back at Precision Tint in downtown Overland Park. Other than that, it’s been small lunch break cosmetic mods for the time being.

I’d like to go down to southern Missouri and out to Colorado, but will be looking for some places closer to home as well.

Hey, wanted to check here first, I'm going to have some SAS Bilstein Coilover takeoffs available later today if anyone is interested. 4-door, 2.7. Comes with a 1" RC leveling kit.

I'm thinking $500.

My adjustable Eibach 2.0s are going on today.

OK. Yes i know what they are for. But? Really seem pointless if you grab it -your face is about 8inches from the airbag. Are there any de letes on the market to make a more usable spot

Fun story. ‘Pepe’. My 2dr sas. Driving down countrygravel roads 35-40mph in SE KS. Instant blow out! Didn’t see anything i would have hit - sounded like a shotgun and instant alarms from Pepe - plus back end dropped FAST! 🤬🤔. Thats not good. FYI - Pepe handled the blow out well. No loss of control. Not sure what it would have done on pavement. Back/passenger rear tire. Long story short- the scissor jack works on nice flat area Wouldn’t want to use on a trail
And don’t let your tire blow out in the middle of nowhere when the heat index is pushing 108f.
Other stupid question! I can easily see front jack points. WTF is the rear. I was hot/pissed -and tired at that point and didn’t really care. Second stupid ? Does having ‘Pepe’ in 4A help when that happens? Auto computer control of other 3 wheels. Not a gearhead but that just occurred to me. All is good - just out a new tire! PSS. Those Tires are Frickin heavy 🥸🏴‍☠️😎

Quick question before I respond but do you know what your ture pressure was before the pop? I know my tire pressures have varied greatly and I never had anything pop on the dash I just had to look for myself. I'm running aftermarket wheels and tires and at one point my back left was 20psi more than my other tires which I'd imagine on a hot day in gravel could pop.
The back jack points I've used has been the pumpkin itself and the axel sides. This is how I lifted the bronco to put the kit and wheels on. For the 4A question I don't really know the true answer but I could imagine it could help maintain control just because you're not relying on only the 2 rears for power.

I got my production notification from Ford. My Bronco will be built the week of June 27th! Not sure how long it will take to get to Long Mac in Salina, hopefully not too long. Can't wait to get out on the road with those of you that have yours already!!

Long Mac is our regular dealer. Ours is still on "dirt/ice mountain" michigan, been there since January 24th. What Bronco are you getting?

Anybody take out back seats yet. Any regrets. It’s just me and the lady and the dogs. Can see hauling a third maybe once every leap yr. If you removed - any regrets! I got a 2dr.

I've had it just around a month now since then I've made minor changes but I've also lifted it 2in zone puck and put it on 20x9 fuel contras wrapped in 35x12.5 radar renegades and the flowmaster outlaw axle back exhaust.

Has anyone else heard about the Bronco Club of Kansas City? I got an email today for a group set up by my local dealer, Olathe Ford, and I'm going to check it out. If anyone else is interested, Sammi's email address is [email protected] See the email text below:

In less than one week, the Bronco Club of Kansas City is launching! ☺

I just wanted to reach out with a friendly reminder that our club’s first meeting is Wednesday, April 20th from 5-7pm at Olathe Ford. Yes, it’s in the middle of the week so please don’t feel obligated to stay the full time. This will be a get-together to introduce you all to the club, our ideas, and of course, each other!

We also have a fun get-together set for Sunday, April 24th out at Bull Creek Distillery! We will meet at the dealership between 10-10:30am. We will convoy down to the distillery at 10:30. Bull Creek closes at 3pm. Of course, if you prefer to not be in the convoy, you’re more than welcome to meet us there. Here, we will do some trail-riding, eat good food, and drink the delicious drinks! Discount on food and drink for all club members!

Haven’t joined the club yet? Come on! The club is $30/year, but first-year fees are waived for Bronco order holders who placed their order through Olathe Ford. This will be the last email I send to all Bronco order holders. If you want to hear more about the club, please let me know!

If you don’t have your Bronco yet, please don’t feel like you can’t come or join. We still want to meet you!

This is meant to be a fun club with fun people doing fun things. Some of you have been on this ride with me for almost 2 years now – it’s time to have some fun!

If you do plan on attending either of the meetings, please let me know so I can have a rough idea of how many people to expect.

As always, I’m here to answer any questions. Please don’t hesitate to reach out!

Thanks,

SAMMI DODSON

Bronco Club President

Congrats! I will definitely be keeping an eye out - I’ve got a 4dr race red base sas on the way. You’ve got great taste 😉

As do you! When are you expecting delivery? Mine was only a few weeks later than I expected after my shipped date.
InTheShift
InTheShift
Oh man I’m not anticipating delivery until the Fall. Placed my order on 2/21/22.

But since it’s a base, soft top, 4 door with Sasquatch being the only package, it might make delivery a bit quicker than a MIC. I’ll have to live vicariously through you all until mine comes in.
Hello. Picked up my Black Diamond 2 door a week and a half ago from Don Hattan Ford in Augusta. Easy to deal with, no upcharge.

Picked up my badlands last Wednesday from Don Hattan Ford of Augusta. I echo what semperfisgt said, great to deal with and no up charges. The salesman had my phone number wrong, so he came to my house during a thunderstorm to personally tell me that my bronco was in.

The funny thing is I was just at the dealership, and they tried to look it up and where unable to even told me that Ford website that they use to track shows that the vehicle was sold, and apparently its not supposed to say that

I would only say that many trolls on these forums will try to send you down their rabbit holes. Be positive! work with your dealer and Ford.

When did you place your order?

Big question is what day were your reservations made. Ford should be building in order of reservation only passing up if parts restraints hold up builds.
BingoBangoBronco
BingoBangoBronco
@66BroncBuster I was a second day reservation for my 2 door so it's been a drag waiting this long. Just hope ice mountain doesn't claim my build.
66BroncBuster
66BroncBuster
@BingoBangoBronco Well I hope we all get ours soon!!! Unfortunately all the restraints are on the few things I won't give up (MIC top, tow pack and sasquatch). Have a 66 Bronco and really wanted a first year 6G to match but that is all shot to heck so I guess I should just be happy to get a Bronco, IF I ever get it HAHA!
Fixajet
Hi everybody,
New to the club and recently ordered a 2022MY Wildtrak Bronco. I have received my order confirmation from my dealer and Ford but was wondering if anyone knows what the wait times are from confirmation to getting a build date? Do I need to keep in regular contact with my dealer?

Projections put day one reservations all being built by the end of January of 22. Day 2 through 7 reservations are projected to be completed by the end of May of 22. All later reservations are projected to run out to some time in December of 22. If you just ordered and did not reserve then you will probably be waiting until some time in 2023.
Hannaboy78
Hello All,
I finally got a build week and VIN number! First week of Jan 2022. Only a month from now so hopefully no craziness between now and then that pushes me back. After almost 17 months, 1 month feels like tomorrow!

Hello Everyone,

Glad to see there are at least a few fellow Kansans with build dates and what... 1 delivery in the group so far? I am a 7/14 res and 1/23 order with no vin... I refused to budge off the MIC top since winters here can be so brutal so I guess I will be going back in to convert to MY22 in the next week or 2.

My Bronco is in transit, should be here sometime next week! I too wouldn't budge off of the MIC. My reservation was 7/13 and I was allocation #2 at my dealer (#1 until the priority order BS).
Hannaboy78
Hannaboy78
I guess I need to ask where I am at allocation wise to find out if I stand a chance of getting my truck within the next year. I can't imagine it being an issue but who knows at this point 🤷
