There have been none in Northern California other than a measly 4 in the SF Bay Area. If you want to drive to San Jose you can.

I emailed "The Ford Store in Morgan Hill" and they've sold off both of theirs. Frontier in Santa Clara sold theirs on Tuesday and Mission Valley Ford said they haven't prep'd theirs (that's the one that looks like it has a small dent in the right front fender). The person at Mission Valley told me that Tuesday (22nd) would be the earliest that it would be ready for a test drive.

So, there is really only one left in the San Jose area to drive.

Yea, I'm fearing that the first time I drive one will be when I get mine. Still, after crawling around in the one up here in Tigard, I'm still happy with my purchase. I did drive an Explorer with a 2.3 and 6 speed. It wasn't terrible and everything I've seen leads me to believe the Ranger is much better acceleration wise. Honestly, the only thing that I even noticed with the Explorer was right off the line it was just a bit soft. Then again it's around 500 lbs heavier, has a 6 speed and higher gears in the rear so that all adds up.

The list shows the block heater as standard.
It is also shown as a separate $80 option??
