Confirmed by Ford / BN today:
All 2021 Ford Bronco models will be flat towing capable, regardless of which available transfer case is equipped. Both the standard 4×4 and Advanced 4×4 transfer cases can be towed with all four wheels on the ground. The capability is noted in the Bronco build and...
No, I just don't take everything an "established source" on a forum states as fact. Do you take everything they post as scripture?
No one is "working together" unless by that you mean rational adults who don't make ridiculous, conclusory statements about a product that hasn't been revealed yet...
FORD hasn't shown or said anything official so stop making these definitive statements like a hysterical teenager based on a few posts on some forum. It may turn out that this thread (and as a result, you) have helped spread the misinformation you pretend to eschew. Get a grip and wait until...
I know an insider here posted March 2020 for the reveal. Here's another stab at it from FA which says April at the NY Auto Show.
Who is right?? I'm skeptical since very few major debuts are taking place at auto shows these days since they have lost their importance and also aren't ideal venues...
Some people really dont see the big picture. Them offering the Baby Bronco or Bronco III or whatever you want to call it, is a good thing for the big Bronco. Sell the generic mainstream stuff to the masses which allows them to build an actual Bronco that caters to enthusiasts. That's the hope anyway
1. If you think Ford will not build a 4 door Bronco you don't understand supply/demand and you would have Ford create a vehicle that has no viable business case and will be discontinued in a few years.
2. Ford has already confirmed they are building both 2 and 4 door Broncos -...
Whatever the reason it is good news. #savethemanual
Also a smart move since there's many serious offroad guys who will only drive manual and Jeep has and probably always will offer it.
I'll say this-if there is any part of the Redditer's post that is true it sounds like Ford is at the early stages of design so there is still time to change any plans to avoid a colossal failure. At least PAY ATTENTION to the backlash online about a facelifted Everest. No one in the world wants...
The last N.American Ranger regular cab weighed 3,000 lbs and the super cab weighed 3600 lbs compared to 4,000 and 5200 lbs respectively for the aluminum F-150. Of course that was 5+ years ago but the Ranger should be significantly shorter and smaller than the F-150 in every way so even without...
Sounds plausible to me and would make a lot of sense.
The F Series top sales position is something the company is not about to give up any time soon and this probably made it easier to sell the Ranger/Bronco costs to the bean counters who worry about cannibalized sales and other things of that...
There's ZERO chance it wont have some kind of removable top. EVERY Bronco ever made had a top that was at least partially removable. the 66-77 Broncos the entire roof came off. During this time there were actually two versions - the "Family Top" which was a full top and the Half Cab top which...
If they are smart they will build both. A 2 door only model is not going to sell enough to make it past the bean counters, even with sharing costs with the Ranger. It'll allow the Jeep to continue unabated with basically no competition for its 4 door JKU which they sell in big numbers. The 2...
