The rack has brackets that completely mimic the rear outside twist lock plates and the front 2 clamp brackets built into it. It's no different from attaching it to the brick body except you didn't use the rear center twist lock Bryon

I have the EZ4X4 half rack. I got it mostly for storing the middle roof panel. I absolutely love it. Very little if any increase in noticeable wind noise. There is a little whistling with the front and middle roof sections removed and the windows up, but I very rarely drive around like that...
