Hello, yes I ended up taking it to the dealer and they realigned the backing plate, that made the noise go away. Misalignment must have been causing there to be something tapping together. They had a FSE (Field service engineer) from Ford diagnose it. Not sure if your problem is similar but...
I haven’t gotten around to taking mine off yet but highly likely I ditch the OEM for the N-fab sliders. When I do so, I can let you know here if you haven’t found a set already
