My 2021 nets have sagged their last sag. I'm shopping for something better. Here are my thoughts:
1. I don't need cool looking holes. Holes are the problem, headlamps and stuff falls out of the nets.
2. I don't need molle, if I understand what that is. Clipping things ON a glorified net is...
I got the recall notice as a postcard from my local dealer. When I read the part about "you can schedule it to upload itself" from my home, I wondered the same question everyone has - HOW?
I checked my Ford App dashboard, I have auto updates turned on, and 5 days a week set up to do it at...
And I took my Bronco in yesterday for the horrible window rattle fix they just came out with...guess what they just told me? "Part is not covered." SSM 53981 to fix a known issue - but sorry, you gotta pay over $1000 to fix what I've suffered with for 4 years.
I've had a 2021 since new, and it's drivers window has rattled and squeaked (depending if you have it rolled up, or down) since new. I finally decided to ask them to fix it and just got the call that "the part isn't covered". Ford even gave me a free extenstion ESP after the 30K was about to...
Sorry I see it's not just happening to me, MoabRox and Threepretzvals.
I just had this on my 2021 Bronco. "Check Brakes" error popup on the dashboard. I found all the SSMs on this common, known failure pointing to a faulty vacuum line (like TSB SSM 50472). I took it to my dealer guess what...

As the quote shows, this was foretold months before it came to pass. Never again give full payment for something that is not ready for immediate shipping. A rule of diminishing downpayment amounts should appy. If it's expected to be ready in a month, you pay 20% down. If not for 6 months...
Not that I know of. I used my iPhone in a rental car with carplay and the pinch to zoom worked. In the Bronco, it does not. Though it did at one time...
A company like ADV is responsible for every part of their business - having proper suppliers, having a website and a building, making sure an employee doesn't embezzle...it's all theirs. If their building burned down, their chief engineer left, a sub contractor (builder) doesn't come...
THis is interesting. Seems ADV is trying to blame the bigger company. But ADV is the ones who took everyone's 100% payments. Nothing to do with their supplier. https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/attachments/apg-statment-regarding-hardtops-pdf.662608/
I saw their tops and thought I might get one, until I saw the 100% pre-pay, with none ever being delivered. Never do that. That's different from a product that has a proven manufacturing and items in their supply chain ready to go. Sure, if you buy something you pay and they ship it that day...
Doesn't matter which part of a company causes failure to produce: their suppliers, their sales and marketing, their plant burning down.
You NEVER pay full price up front for an expensive product that is from a small company. Being a "crowdfund" or "venture capitalist" is a different matter...
You can now begin using the scammed language.
NEVER finance a small company's expensive new product with a full down payment. I put $100 down for my bronco in 2021, so didn't mind the delays. Full price down to "wait and see" is a fools errand.
