After considering all things and reviews, I opted for the UPR Dual Valve can via Lethal Perfromance. Gonna install this weekend and start catching stuff I can use as bar oil on the chainsaw. Who knew this would be the ultimate environmentally sensitive upgrade!!

I should add, they put the 1st replacement shaft on at 5700 miles. I'm now at 15300 and the new shaft has not exhibited the problem as of yet. The truck gets driven hard with lots of rock crawling..who knows, maybe it was a one time thing and FoMoCo put some top secret super lube on the yoke:wink:

My truck actually did it from brand new. I lived with until I scrubbed the forums and figured out what it was. Dealer told me that if they have to put a new driveshaft on it 50 times while under warranty, they'll do it.

FWIW, I looked into a custom rear drive shaft with greaseable slip yoke.....was VERY expensive so I said to hell with it. While truck is under warranty, I'll just keep getting new ones when the lube dries out.

Same issue I had. Local dealer warranteed a new drive shaft and fixed it right up. All good until this shaft does the same thing because the brilliant minds at Ford won't put a zirc on the damn thing so the slip splines can be lubed.

Spoke with Ford Performance tech line today. Their original dual catch can kit for the Braptor - part# M-6766-BW30, has been replaced with part# M-6760-RR30. The tech claims it eliminates the fitment issues of the original kit.

WeatherTech seat covers....15K miles in and seats look showroom.

I had my driver rear flare detach whille off road in a tricky and tight uphill. The flare got scratched to hell. Wonder if FoMoCo will give me a new flare?

What oil were you running? Hard to believe Mobil 1 or Amsoil, Rotella, etc. would fail that soon.

Atta Boy or gal!! That engine will last longer than most who baby and needlessly change their focking oil every 3K miles.

Fucking oil threads....my semi runs T6 Rotella and gets changed at 100K intervals - oil analysis is perfect every time. Y'all wasting money and crude on needless oil changes. Maybe if all your trips are 10 mins to the local ABS, than yeah, change at 5K - even that is too often with the modern...
