I did the KBD flairs. I really like the looks and the square flare shape fits the Bronco look better in my opinion. If I had to do it again I wouldn't put them on though. The double sided tape has a major problem with popping off when it gets cold.

I Don't do much with mud so I can't comment about that. My rock sliders seem to deflect most of the rocks. It is weird how most rocks come of at about a 20 degree angle. I really like the look and I feel that the round stock flares were a design mistake from Ford

Glad you found a suitable tire. Your experience with rocks is the same as mine. I hate the Goodyear tires solely for this reason alone.

The closest Jeep color was Rescue Green. It has been discontinued on the wrangler for a long time, maybe 2010ish. Rescue Green is still my favorite jeep color of all time

Hmm, studded snow tires should make the thing stick like glue to slick roads or as good as anything can. Might be a little driver error. The grinding noise is the stability control doing its thing. Open diffs are always better at preventing a vehicle for sliding sideways on slick roads. They...

So I reached out to KBD before I posted here. Their customer service has been great and they are sending me replacements for the 2 effected flares, plus extra tape. I hope that it goes better the second time.

I am glad some people have had good luck with the KBD flares. The set that I got in were horrible. Only 1 out of 4 fit even remotely close.

That is exactly the set up that I am looking at doing. I have the same questions too.
