This build definitely exceeded my expectations - I think it looks great! Not usually a fan of green but the Field Green launch color is really nice and I could also see the interior working well with some of the grays like Marsh.
This has to be a pre-production thing right?? This is certainly...
Surprised I'm in the minority here but I would absolutely go Sasquatch. You get the gearing, the added clearance and while subjective, I love the stance of a BL on 35's compared to non-squatch. Also, if you think there is any possibility you will go to 35's at some point, I would just go for it...
Will do! It's one of those things you hope you don't have to use much if at all on the trail so it's a bummer to spend a ton of money on one but when you do need it...
Given 21 inches should be sufficient, I'm leaning towards the PowerBuilt.
Appreciate the recommendation - I'll check out the Torin! Definitely looking for something portable for the trail and not a garage jack. Really thought I was going to need something in the excess of 21 inches for the front so these jack point suggestions are helpful as well.
*** Sorry just saw this thread *** but would still love feedback on the if the PowerBuilt would work with the 37's
Looking for feedback on what kind of jack folks are taking off-road for their Raptors or Broncos with 37+ tires. I've read through a few different threads and the two...
I made the jump from a '22 Badlands [2.7, 4dr, Sasquatch, Lux, Soft Top] to the Braptor a year ago almost to the day. Both have served as my daily (although I do not need to commute), and both have been off-road. The TL;DR for me is it's well worth the upgrade - My only regret is not buying the...
Yeah, really liking all these builds and thanks for all the info!
Also, I appreciate you weighing in on the compressor setup - That pretty much confirms my decision to go with the portable version.
Thanks for sharing as I must have missed that thread. I like the top alignment on your build and the custom bracket looks like it should be fairly straightforward . The Braptor from the image above looks like it's using the DV8 camera relocation bracket - Did you happen to look at that option...
Yes! I've been looking for examples of the BD pocket lights in that specific space on the ADD Rock Fighter bumper for a while and agree it's something ADD should consider... This is my dream build - Well done and thanks for the detailed write-up!
Ah got it - Appreciate the clarification! I was wondering if the built in speaker in the 575 was loud enough so good to know about the mini. Also the mic hookup is super clean so definitely looking to go that route.
Love the build - Looks great and everything seems super functional! I've been thinking about a similar Midland MXT575 install - Couple of questions: Are you using the Midland speaker with the Yaesu? Also, do you see any advantage of installing everything in the center console vs glovebox or is...
Exactly. So for ~$10k more you get the 3.0, 37's, HOSS 4.0, a nicer interior and quite a few other upgrades that are all backed by the factory. Sure it's still a lot of money for a vehicle but I would argue the price difference from a BL or WT to the Raptor is well worth it.
I was wondering about this as well but I guess still no dice for under-the-hood Braptor mounts... In terms of performance though (keeping 37's in mind), is the new brushless single truly comparable to the non-brushless twin as a viable option for 37 inch+ tires?
Just sold my '22 Badlands last Fall and bought a new Braptor. It's easily worth the price difference over a BL, especially if you can pick one up for $80k or less. It's a smoother ride in day-to-day driving, handles better (like others, I don't particularly feel the extra width while driving)...
