When we were buying ours, our salesman had recently sold a white one. The purchasers apparently brought a magnet in when they picked it up that said 'juice approved' with his face on it. He showed us the picture.
I shouldn't have chuckled, but I did.
If your state lets you get that many...
Definitely going to be cheaper to buy the painted top option from Ford instead of getting the MIC top.
Couple that with a lot of people are having cracking issues with the MIC top, and I'm not sure how well the MIC top is going to take to being prepped for painting, since it isn't intended to...
Lots of good points in this thread, but I wanna call this one here out - because it's absolutely true.
There's a Walmart everywhere, and a majority of them anymore have a tire/service center. They typically will do mounting and balancing for free IF you are buying the tires there. They're not...
As others have said, check your local laws. Some places it's a no-no without a doctor's prescription, others have limits on what can be done even then.
I would personally avoid the windshield if you're going to be driving after dark. As others pointed out, tinted windows are harder to see out...
I'm not gonna read through this whole thread, so if someone else has said this I'm reiterating it.
Ford wanting your VIN is a CYA for Ford. They don't want to be held accountable if you purchase the wrong parts for your vehicle, or put a part that isn't meant for your vehicle on your vehicle...
Back when I was a kid, we had a lady pull up beside us at a red light. She had a cigarette and donut in one hand, paper spread across the wheel, and a ceramic mug of coffee in the other. Oh, and the radio blasting.
Seen something like the boat on the truck's roof - a motorhome pulling a full...
Interesting. I didn't know that, I thought it was pretty universal.
Regardless, even at 91, that is a level of octane that shouldn't cause issues for these engines. They're tuned to run on 87 without issue, and to run BETTER and with more power on 91+. On a factory tune, that is.
95 octane is a higher rating than the 91/93 that Ford recommends, meaning it would be LESS likely to knock, especially at lower elevations.
OP is probably right in that the tune is causing the issue if it was specific to that previous engine. ALL engines, even mass produced, are ever so...
Same thoughts here. I have a Rigid shop vac, with multiple accessories, including the vehicle-specific long narrow one to get down between seats (a like $10 accessory at the time I think?). I simply run an extension cord out to the driveway when I need to vacuum everything out. Given how I...
Even at that, you would just be able to wire in a new set of fogs that utilize the factory switch/harness. Several companies are offering adapter harnesses to go from aftermarket fogs to the factory wiring, because even guys with the Capable and factory fogs are upgrading to the Modular and...
Ford, like many other companies, are learning that AI isn't ready to replace people who do even somewhat critical jobs. It is a tool that, left unchecked, will (at least currently) fail to do the job it's intended for and cost more than the employees that were doing said job.
That's unfortunate that your dealer and sales person have been rather uninformative.
Yes, there are ways you can track it. One is VINView, which your dealer would need to sign you up for...it gives you text messages every time there is a status change on your rail car. Your dealer can actually...
I will admit I haven't driven a 4-door variant, because when we were looking we were looking specifically at 2-doors because it'll be my son's primary vehicle in about a year. Very little legroom in the back seat means very little chance of extra passengers, meaning fewer distractions for a new...
