  1. New to me 2022 2-door Badlands SAS w/lux package and 7mt!

Looks great! Congratulations on the acquisition. Getting what you want is the most important feature. It really stands apart.
  2. Farewell, Miss my Bronco

I toyed with the idea of swapping my 2-door V6 2023 Badlands Sasquatch for an I4 with a 7-speed manual. I test drove a 2024 2-door Heritage Edition with a 7 speed manual. I wasn't impressed. I wanted to be, trust me. I loved everything about the Heritage Edition and missed driving a stick. I...
  3. per Dealer: You can install the Ford Tune yourself. We don't do that and there is no requirement it has to be a dealer or ASE tech

Looks like I've got no excuse not to install the tune on my 2.7L equipped Bronco. That $800 chunk of electronics has been taking up too much space in my tool box for too long... Once I find a place to plug in my tender, I'll be all set.
  4. PSA— Archetype Racing is back under a new name: Thrustworks

I don’t know why anyone would give Thrustworks ANY business knowing the proprietors stiffed customers earlier under a different name. Of course, I’d be willing to forgive them if they returned my money for the products I bought in good faith. And paid everyone else back, too.
  5. Side View Mirrors - Not Matching?

As one who prides himself on his powers of observation, I'm sorry to say it took me 2 1/2 years to notice the difference in the shape of my driver's side and passenger's side view mirrors. :wait:
  6. PSA— Archetype Racing is back under a new name: Thrustworks

I'm swapping out my BYOD rail for a Tackform unit. I'm keeping my stirrup steps because they're useful. I'm on the fence about parting with the shackles I bought from AR, as I think they're good looking, although I hate seeing AR on them. Guess I could spray paint over that... I went from...
  7. Bronco Raptor R - Sign Me Up!

    Wishful pranking! :ROFLMAO:
  8. Bronco Stroppe Editions are in transit

I know of at least one person expecting to take delivery of a Stroppe Bronco soon.
  9. Bronco Off-Roadeo Half Day Experience

    That was a blast!
  10. Ford Releases 7 Pin Tow Wiring for Factory Installation

You rock, dude. Thanks! I found a YouTube video that was amazingly helpful. He also included a link to the PDF manual, which I downloaded and printed (all 27 pages). Yeah, I know. I'm old. LOL The manual is useful, but the video really fleshes out some of the details the pictograms do...
  11. Ford Releases 7 Pin Tow Wiring for Factory Installation

I just ordered the 4-7 pin harness from Ford Accessories. I wasn't going to because all I wanted the trailer hitch for was a bike rack, but here we are... LOL Is the consensus that the DIY install is tedious but doable and that the dealer needs to program something if I don't have a Forescan...
  12. Ford Merchandise 50% Off Sale!

That's a good-looking item, @RobWTX. I didn't realize the opening was round; I thought it was square. I'd trade out a few old mugs for one of those.
  13. Ford Merchandise 50% Off Sale!

I saw that and thought it was cool, but it's square; won't it be hard to drink from that without making a mess?
  14. This is what a 2-door Bronco Raptor would look like!

Oh, cool! Literally... I recognized the piece the mini-Raptor owner applied as something available through the Ford Performance catalog (or equivalent), and thought it was the same piece. I don't see too many Raptors, so I was going on memory alone. There's no mistaking the difference!
  15. This is what a 2-door Bronco Raptor would look like!

Isn't that the same piece of plastic they add to the "real" Braptor? I don't think it looks bad. Does the Raptor hood involve a CAI setup? What I DO miss are those cool vents on the fenders, although I know it's not just the vents; the fenders themselves are different. I think the vents fit in...
