I Found take offs for little over 500 shipped already same color. My painter buddy told me jump on cause labor to sand prep and paint would end up being 2-3x as much and probably not be ecact match.

Only way to get perfect match is OEM take off flares or have a shop properly match it. Too many variables when dealing with 3rd party painting.

Been going to my dealer for 4yrs every 5k miles 6qts synthetic with tire rotation (all 5) and its always right around 100 bucks with tax. Ive had a coupon here and there and got it for less a few times.

2 average adults should be able to do it no problem. I know guys that are like 6'4 and 250lbs + that can do it by themselves.

I think thats what it is that looks off to me. Doesnt follow the body lines. I think the 2 and 4 dr standard flares are the same so I assume they would work.

I stopped reading and started skimming about halfway thru... What scares me is if OP is having this much trouble figuring out how to get parts, imagine when he goes to actually work on it... and then learns the hard way about service mode which he will then come on here and blame Ford.

36-38s are usually satisfactory depending if theyre D or DD.

If my reading is correct the recall is due to a hardware issue. Being ripped off at a carwash is a different situation.
