  1. Is there one "best" ASS Eliminator? There are several on Amazon at different pricepoints

It's weird, I pushed the button under the radio on my 21 Badlands and it's stayed off ever since. I haven't missed it.
  2. Show me your Bronco doing Bronco stuff!

Honestly, about as hard as Dome Plateau. There’s more crawling on Sevenmile but nothing more difficult than Dome. I even saw some dudes doing it in a pickup!
  3. Show me your Bronco doing Bronco stuff!

Last weekend in Moab on Dome Plateau and Sevenmile Rim. Picked up a couple of Jeep friends who tagged along with me. :)
  4. How often do you use electronic stabilizer bar disconnect

LOL - one other thing - the Jeepers like to give us a little good natured flak from time to time. I wound up with a TJ and a JL following me around and gave them a little ribbing back. :) The TJ was a super nice couple from Minnesota and the JL was a guy from Kansas. We all had fun!
  5. How often do you use electronic stabilizer bar disconnect

From what you're saying, you're out in the Cisco/Moab area already. I spent the last weekend on Dome Plateau and Sevenmile Rim. I had it disconnected the whole time. There are just a few places up there where you're likely to get over 20 mph in any event unless you have a stronger bladder...

    Utah Bronco Owners Unite!

@TheKim it was just me and the copilot husky but we had a blast!

    Utah Bronco Owners Unite!

Just saw this one! I was down in Moab this weekend doing Dome Plateau and Seven Mile Rim! Miss you guys!
  8. Article: My Name Is Sal Gusmano, and I Break Ford Vehicles for a Living (at Michigan Proving Grounds)

Long post, I won't be offended if you don't read it. Honestly, people get really emotional about things sometimes. I started offroading as a kid in about 1974 or 5 in my uncle's Plymouth Trail Duster. My dad had a Bronco back in 1969 but he sold it when my mom was pregnant with me. Even...
  9. Article: My Name Is Sal Gusmano, and I Break Ford Vehicles for a Living (at Michigan Proving Grounds)

You make a good point here - people change out the upper control arms for a taller lift, change out a bunch of other parts, but complain about the tie rod ends. Mine has been fine and I carry a spare just in case, but it's still in the plastic wrap! My opinion has always been the tie rod end...
  10. Article: My Name Is Sal Gusmano, and I Break Ford Vehicles for a Living (at Michigan Proving Grounds)

No idea, actually. I wasn't driving it, I was about 2 vehicles back but I had no problem there. Could have already been weakened by something else and it was just time to go, maybe it was a bad one, or maybe they did the funny on the ledge. Can't really comment, just that I saw it, but like I...
  11. Article: My Name Is Sal Gusmano, and I Break Ford Vehicles for a Living (at Michigan Proving Grounds)

Yeah, climbing up on that ledge you see in the foreground, but I think the front locker was disengaged from the conversation. Anyway, it happened, now, it's never happened to me, but I carry a spare tie rod just in case. It's cheap insurance. Honestly, I doubt Ford would have released the...
  12. Article: My Name Is Sal Gusmano, and I Break Ford Vehicles for a Living (at Michigan Proving Grounds)

Stock Wildtrak, Labor Day, 2022, Top of the World trail in Moab. Not mine, but I was there. Fortunately, about three of us had spare tie rods in our kit, so we repaired on the trail and continued on.
  13. Anyone Off-Roaded With Pets? How Hard Is It Really?

He was chilling at the Salt Lake County Shelter and decided he wanted to come home with me. He has the best personality. He's super sweet and loves all the dogs except one. He doesn't like that one at all and I'm not sure what it did to him. Haha!
  14. Anyone Off-Roaded With Pets? How Hard Is It Really?

This weirdo rides in the back with me a lot. He's pretty cool with it but he did get a little agitated at Easter Egg Hill on Flat Iron Mesa once and climbed up on my back. I told him to get lost.
  15. Anyone have experience with 35's with 4.46 gear?

I've been driving this set up for almost 5 years. It's fine, I've done everything from highway trips to Texas from Utah to rock crawling in Moab. Regearing would be a waste of money with 35s. Also, don't let anyone tell you what transmission is right for you. I've driven almost everything...
