  1. NOW AVAILABLE: BOSS "Walker Link" Sway Bar Shock System - Great alternative to disconnects!

Even though Sierra has 500 or whatever HP at the wheels, he and his wife have welded on another 1k lbs of unsprung and sprung suspension weight so their bronco's drive like dump trucks no matter 😜🤣 I actually should try this. I suspect I would not like it, even pushing to oversteer when I make...
  2. Bit the bullet and Bilstein 8110/8112 are on the way

Pics, and an extensive report on settings that you end up preferring - 5 paragraphs at least! :ROFLMAO: Sometimes I want more lift/articulation for greater ease on level 5-6-6.5 trails so I think about a Ride extended shock/diff drop install (maybe even keep 35's, maybe go with 37's or 38)'s...
  3. NOW AVAILABLE: BOSS "Walker Link" Sway Bar Shock System - Great alternative to disconnects!

To address your OG question(s), the walker links allow a bit more (It's buried in this thread somewhere, @87-Z28 is right no doubt - right at 3 inches of extra articulation across front axle) under slow crawling (again @87-Z28 is spot on - they are dampers). When I am driving like batman on...
  4. Ford Bronco Vs. Jeep Wrangler: How The Off-Road Specs Compare

Me thinks your exaggerating just a wee bit . That said there is real truth to what you say here. Most (but not all) of what your feeling can be attributed to the shock choices that Ford makes compared to Jeep. The yellow bilstein's on your parents Bronco are digressive. Not everyone likes...
  5. Bronco Third Transmission

I am curious, were these repairs done/recommended at the same dealer you had the previous (3!) transmission replacements done? In any case, it does appear yours was a certified lemon. In all likelihood, the Toyota will be more reliable.
  6. How Often Are You Guys Actually Hitting the Trails?

I'm BACCCKKKKKK :ROFLMAO: {tangent: realized I have not checked into the forum in 4 months or so. kindney stones that almost put me in the hospital (ouuuuccchhh!), then my father-in-law had a heart attack and a recovery that required personal attention,so I just got out of the forum habit...I...
  7. 2026 EJS Moab Trail Experience – Bronco Owners Welcome

I will be there - will run whatever you guys do that is not beyond my stock Sasquatch.
  8. 2025 2.3L Ford Performance Tune

It does not. The mid range torque boost is what is most significant about it, especially for a manual. Still, it’s not a night and day difference, but it is noticeable. Ford claims 30 extra horses at the top end, but I’m not convinced it actually delivers that, not that that would be all that...
  9. Off-Road Events: Worth It or Just Hype?

    What you said was not nearly as rude as what your mother said to me last night in the back of my Bronco when she was {Admin: you’re just one more post from serious consequences Crenca, we mean it this time!}
  10. Off-Road Events: Worth It or Just Hype?

Posts like this always throw me. They are just a set up for a series of ‘your-mom-on-the-street-corner’ jokes right?……Right?
  11. 2025 2.3L Ford Performance Tune

Ducati can confirm but your SOL I believe using that particular ProCal for a tune. As it is, it is useful for its other functions (gauges, tire size/speedo adjustments, very limited DTC code reading, etc.). Dealer techs often know less about ProCal then average consumers who read a post or two...
  12. How much weight on tailgate before reinforcement is needed?

Just to be clear, I'm not concerned the labeling weakens the reinforcement, I simply don't want my Bronco to be an advertising board for a sundry of aftermarket parts suppliers. The Hammer built certainly looks the about the sturdiest reinforcement I have seen.
