Does that level the back for camping? I’m guessing the last photo is the folding table attached to the tailgate? Looks rather crowded but fits if that’s the case.

I have the Gobi and its as strong as a rollbar. The way the exoskeleton is designed it's strong.

Don’t get me wrong, Gobi builds the strongest roof rack I’ve seen. It’s about as strong as a roll bar. And the tents and awnings from OpenRoad are awesome. It was just the brackets sent when I told em I had a Gobi rack that didn’t work out. Like putting a square peg in a round hole.

Me too. Have Gobi racks, OpenRoad rooftop tent, 270° awning, shower awning+water heater+5gal water tank all mounted with Gobi brackets. It’s a must!! 3 times I came close to losing my tent bc nuts worked themselves loose.

Yay, sounds like you are listening to your customers and headed in the right direction if the older tailgate table fits with it.

That is true. I have that in mine but once in a while I hit it with my knee when step is down. It then remains down until I stop and open my door and realize I’ve been driving around with it extended. Need some kind of warning.

You might consider (recommended) installing a circuit breaker to turn them off before opening the door for that very reason.

Unfortunately it also won't fit with the lower molle panels I purchased from them for the cargo area. these fit below the window molle panels I have.

They knew it wouldn't fit with the pre-existing tailgate table. I was one that was involved with questioning them as to why they weren't going to make it a few inches shorter to accommodate the current owners of their tailgate table and they didn't respond to it except to respond for us to buy...

No it may not have but they knew that it wouldn’t fit and they had to redesign the table.
