First thing I did was get the best, most blocking-est nano-ceramic tint I could find. Blocks 97% of the heat and my cabin is easily 10-15 degrees cooler than ambient if I'm parked in the sun.

Ooh good call. Next time I put my doors back on I'll keep that in mind. Be taller, I'll tell myself. You can do this.
That's a photo of the Wolfbox mirrors - highlighting that the retension ring is one piece molded to the back...as opposed to lightly glued on in the SUMA version.
That Jeep door lift is $750..... I bet you could buy something like this, and just add 4 posts to the corners with pool noodles and do it for under $200.

I think this would absolutely work on 4D Broncos... for 2D it could be adjustable to make it a bit wider on the base to support a longer door, but this looks promising.
I haven't seen the WB - but my understanding is that the retention ring and back is one solid piece..... I was as shocked as you at the SUMA build quality (they did give me a full refund tho).
Had a similiar issue and discovered that the nuts on the UCAs had drifted / come loose a bit so it was banging on bumps.
Re-torqued it and all was good.
