Recently picked up my Bronco from getting its 3rd transmission installed. It now has MB3R 7003 AD. Shifts much better and is super quiet so far. Hopefully I'll have better luck this time around. I'll keep you guys posted.
Also, something to note is the tech said that the old assembly had copper...
Not sure I'm feeling this "fix". For those who have installed different shocks, what did you install? I'm possibly looking to replace mine with something that has the same ride height, but less stiff than stock. I know nothing about shocks and I'm afraid to go down the rabbit hole.
Do you know if the new 2025 models are still having the issue and what the newest transmission revision is? I'm curious if the newest revision of the transmission has fixed the problem. A while back, I seem to remember the transmission revision lagging behind the parts used in the TSB.
It's been a while since anyone has posted on this thread. I have been waiting to take in my Bronco again for the tumbling rocks sound (on my 2nd transmission).
Just curious if anyone has the newest revision of the transmission or had the latest TSB completed and if it solved the issue.
One of the previous updates caused my Bronco screen to default to the "settings" tab every time I start it up. It used to default to the tab I was using last (usually the music tab). Now I have to flip it to music every time. Hopefully a future update addresses this because it drives me crazy.
I love my Bronco and the manual is the main reason I have one.
That being said, my transmission grind is so bad now. It does it in any temperature outside no matter how long the engine has been running. I really hope they have a fix before my power train warranty ends because I don’t have much...
