  1. šŸš— Who’s in Charge of Cleaning the Car in Your Family? 🧽

Me. Learned how to properly detail a car about 50 years ago with my first one. ā€˜64 Dodge Coronet. We are in Quartzsite AZ for the winter. The water here is so full of minerals, water spots are terrible. Luckily there has been no rain(OK, .01ā€ one time), so I dust off the Bronco every day or two...
  2. FordPass Service History

That ā€œaddā€ button does not show up on my ford pass app.
  3. "DON'T TOUCH MY BRONCO!"

When I was a young buck working at a Chrysler/Plymouth dealer in the early ā€˜70’s we didn’t call them porters, we called them shaggers.
  4. "DON'T TOUCH MY BRONCO!"

Interesting thread. I have always kept my vehicles clean, it’s therapy for me. Learned how to properly detail a car when I got my first, 50 years ago. We might take our Bronc on gravel roads, etc, but we would never take it where we take our Rzr. Side note, when I took my Harley Trike to a trike...
  5. FordPass App v5.0 Launched

I updated the app the other day. Guess I shouldn’t have. I rotated my tires today since I needed the left front wheel off to get to the PCV hose to install a catch can. I no longer see any way to enter your own maintenance. Then I see an entry for the visit I had recently to my dealer to have...
  6. Keeping Rodents away from the wiring - Educate yourself

Wife uses cotton balls soaked with peppermint oil in the basement compartments in our RV, no rodent damage yet in 3 years of this coach and 7 with previous coach. Also a few motion sensor lights underneath. As for her beloved Bronco, the garage is pretty well sealed up, I built it 20 years ago...
  7. Filling up gas using handle lever lock won't hold

I usually set it on the first click, slower fill but it doesn’t shut off prematurely. Carryover from a previous car that didn’t like it full blast either.
  8. Trail etiquette question - found a tool...

I would lean toward the ranger station, if you leave it, the one who takes it might not be the one who lost it…
  9. Rodents/Squirrels ate through fuel line. Advice on preventing in the future?

Wife uses peppermint oil on cotton balls in the RV, one in each basement compartment, a few under the hood. Renew with a few drops of oil every month or so. We see no rodent evidence. Here in humid western Washington the Irish Spring soap turns into a slimy mess.
  10. Extra loud horn recommendations

I have these on the RV. Not sure they would fit under the hood of the Bronco
