  1. Raptor or Filson?

Right there with ya on the Everglades. I did go to the Filson event in Denver (with our daughter in her Badlands) and I am seriously tempted. I'd ask my wife if I could have both, but she's an accountant, so ...
  2. Santiago Mine off Argentine Pass Trail

Okay, thanks, that's good information. I was curious because the pictures I've seen from the Waldorf Mine site up to Santiago Mine, even though it's above tree line, show some serious scrub encroaching on each side of the trail. I'll give TrailsOffroad.com a look and see what recent trail...
  3. Santiago Mine off Argentine Pass Trail

I posted this on the Colorado specific 6G forum with no response. Any thoughts from the Trip Report section? I'm planning on running the Argentine Pass trail and, in particular, the side trail to the Santiago Mine above the Waldorf Mine site. I ran the Webster Pass trail this past fall and this...
  4. Santiago Mine off Argentine Pass Trail

Planning on running the Argentine Pass trail and, in particular, the side trail to the Santiago Mine above the Waldorf Mine site. I ran the Webster Pass trail this past fall and this seems to be another nice option for the Montezuma area. My main question, after watching some videos on the...

  6. Argentine Pass and Santiago Mine in Colorado

Reviving an old thread on the Argentine Pass trail and, in particular, the side trail to the Santiago Mine. I ran the Webster Pass trail this past fall and this seems to be another nice option for the Montezuma area. My main question, after watching some videos on the Santiago Mine side trip, is...

Clean or dirty ... or somewhere in between?
  9. Valentine’s Day off rodeo in Moab

To clarify, the obstacle (and primary trail) is to the left, and is not completely visible beyond the scrub (and, as with most pics, this one doesn’t really do it justice). The bypass is to the right, and alone would be 2WD. The rest of Gemini Bridges is a mix ratings wise, but is wonderfully...
  10. Valentine’s Day off rodeo in Moab

A look at probably the most challenging (and fun!) type of obstacle that you'll find on the Gemini Bridges trail from the Moab side. Should be a cake walk in your Sassie BB:

If you like Italian, try Pasta Jay's. Patio seating for people (and Bronco) watching: https://www.pastajays.com/moab/ Also, we love The Jailhouse Cafe for breakfast (closed winter months): https://www.yelp.com/biz/jailhouse-cafe-moab One of our (and FunTrek's) favorite easy trails is Gemini...
  12. Attaching Trail Patches to Interior of Painted Hard Top

Good recommendation, thanks. We might just give that method a go. Regarding the garage door opener, she's an adult daughter that drives a Badlands. You can't tell her what to do ... 😉
  13. Attaching Trail Patches to Interior of Painted Hard Top

Yeah, we checked out the hot heads headliners but, unfortunately, per their website, they're not compatible with the new painted hardtops. Maybe just as well, since they are really pricey.
  14. Attaching Trail Patches to Interior of Painted Hard Top

Referencing the attached pictures, I have the sound deadening headliner on my '24 Everglades and velcro-backed patches (trail, off-roadeo, etc.) attach quite nicely. However, my daughters '25 Badlands has the new painted hard top and the padded material inside is kind of 'slick' will not accept...
