  1. Oracle Lighting Flush tail lights installed... turn signal indicators and chimes now operating very fast

I have installed the Oracle Lighting Flush tail lights. Along with the Amber modules. 2022 Badlands with LED tail lights. After reading the posts from Oracle they stated you don't have to do any Forscan changes using the Amber modules. After install I now have the turn signal indicators and...
  2. 2021-2024 Bronco RV & Trailer Towing (GVWR / GCWR) Guide From Ford

If something bad were to happen and the insurance co. found out you were over the max by any amount they are not liable to pay for any damage or injury. Learned this from my son's body shop that works with insurance company's every day. BEWARE! Jim.
  3. Door Ding Protection?

First thing I noticed when I installed the Rock Slide Engineering steps is the door ding protection from inconsiderate idiots in parking lots. Now I don't even think about it. Jim
  4. Ball clearance question

The "sweet spot" for me seems to be 18" inches form the ground to the top of the ball for most smaller utility trailers. My 22 Bad Squach took a 4" drop.
  5. RC hidden winch mount install, 2.7 w/ "capable" bumper & Warn VR Evo

https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/warn-hidden-winch-rough-country-mount.42113/post-1960838 This has worked out well, Jim.
  6. Headlight Wiring Broken

I hate to start an oil thread here but crimp connectors are preferred over solder in FAA and NASA. Have you ever seen solder joints in wires in vehicles from the manufacture? Solder creates a brittle point in the wire. I always use bare butt connectors with glue heat shrink. Yes takes more time...
  7. Bouncy Hood at Highway Speeds

Wait till you get to drive into a 50mph head wind at 65mph, you'll think it's going to fly open. At least 3/4" lift at both front corners. Was told normal for these aluminum hoods. Scared the crap out of me. Jim.
  8. StickerFab - DIY Window Tint Kit

I'm sure once the word gets out about how well it works they would sell well. If you already have the template the only thing would be a shipping tube. It may take some time to get the word out. Jim.
  9. StickerFab - DIY Window Tint Kit

I was skeptical at first until I had felt the difference with and without the film on the windshield. Yes you want it as clear as possible to have good visibility and not attract the tint police. I understand your concern about enough volume to produce the product. If I don't feel confident to...
  10. StickerFab - DIY Window Tint Kit

That would probably be fine, that is probably what they used. I really can't see any tint to it at all. It's very effective for heat. If you have a template for it maybe you could hook me up and others also. Thanks. Jim.
  11. StickerFab - DIY Window Tint Kit

Can you look into a clear ceramic film for the inside of the windshield? had this done to my P.U. and it really helps here in the southwest. Local shops here are really high $ for window tinting. Jim.
  12. What You Learn After Signing... mud flaps and power running board recommendations?

Rock Slide Engineering, yes they are pricey but they are a Win Win. My wife is vertically challenged and they keep her from sliding off the seat, reducing seat wear and mud tracks up her legs. They stop the door dings from those inconsiderate Idiots in parking lots, and help with mud sling...
  13. Metal-Tech Step Sliders vs Rock Slide Engineering Step Sliders?

I made the choice to use the RSE step sliders before my bronco was built after my wife and I attended the Rodeo. We are getting older, my wife is only 5' and the ease of entry seemed like a plus. They were the 1st mod I completed. Yes they are expensive, cry once. After 15 months of use they are...
  14. Sway Bar quick disconnects

looks like your upper Heim joint is not aligned properly, binding possibly causing premature wear on lower pin. Jim.
