In the late 70s when I started doing this, it was not common to see another vehicle in these remote places. When I was in the Maze the first time I saw one other vehicle during the 6 day stay. When we did meet another vehicle we always stopped to talk. Now, it is usually just a quick wave to...
I am not in high heat area but I have come to the same conclusion. Yesterday, I aired up my tires and the compressor got pretty hot. When I was finished and shut off the engine the compressor fan was running but shut off after about 30 seconds.
I don't know why when I first installed the...
The upfitter switches do not have power. You must connect the wires that go to them (located on the firewall) to something that has a power source. They just turn the power on and off (probably through grounding). At least that is the way I interpret it. So far, I have just followed the...
I don't think there is a protective coating the will stand up to the abuse armor can get. I just get out a rattle can of black paint and touch up the scratches to help keep them from rusting. Works great until the the next time, then I repeat.
I recently bought 3 Motorcraft oil filters for my Bronco online through Walmart. Should i be concerned they are confederate? They look look exactly like the one i bought for my last oil changed that I got from Auto Zone.
I do all the maintenance on all my vehicles. One exception is the transmission, other than some seals. I change the fluid or gear lube but don't do internal work.
I have not had much maintenance on my Bronco yet but have done a lot on additions.
I didn't get hit but it was close. Last week I on the freeway in CA. looking to merge into the #1 lane. I saw a bike coming and let him go by. Looked again in my left mirror and blind area mirror and it was totally clear. Started moving over and suddenly I could hear a bike coming fast. I...
I have USAA and they always send out Safelite to change my windshields. Safelite kind of complain when I ask for OEM but they come though. I have not had a windshield replace on my Bronco yet but many times on my two Rangers.
That is for sure. There is another flat area beyond the Flint Trail that gets washed out and can get muddy. One time when it was dry my rear tire slipped into a deep wash at the side of the trail there. I just kept my foot on the accelerator and drove sideways for a while until the tire got...
That looks like it is used for removing the transmission with the vehicle on or near the ground. I may be interested in it but I would need to see it in person.
How much lift does it have from fully down to full up?
