I feel like people have lost the plot between camping and overlanding. Overlanding has come to mean buying a bunch of accessories and kitting your truck to the nines. Camping = you set up a camp. Static location that you can leave to go fishing, offroading etc. You're staying in one fixed area...

@AckPhft lower rear shock mounts need protection the most. Followed by the drop brackets for the rear lower control arm

The oem rock sliders get removed and replaced with the running boards. They both mount to the body with intermediate brackets

They fit. They use the same mounting locations. I sold and mountain mine onto someone's OBX

There have been many recalls but they're mostly pretty minor. Ford is aggressive where other companies sweep issues under the rug as long as they can. The engine options are better than the tractor motors they offer over at Toyota but gas mileage is going to be just ok. I have loved both of...
