  1. Cal4Wheel Death Valley Experience 3/19 - 3/22/26

Sans is a preposition borrowed from French that means "without" or "lacking". While considered a bit literary or archaic, it is used in casual English for stylistic flair or humor. [1, 2, 3] Usage & Examples Everyday/Humorous: "We’re enjoying a relaxing weekend, sans children." Common Compound...
  2. Anyone else concerned owning this car out of warranty ?

My experience has been the opposite. We used to own a 2010 F150 Lariat. It was a CPO purchase with about 32K miles on it. In addition to the CPO warranty, also purchased the CPO wrap which extended the warranty to 100K miles. That extended warranty paid for itself and probably every extended...
  3. Towing a U-Haul Trailer

I have only towed a couple of times with my Wildtrak using a hitch with a 2.5" drop and was able to clear the spare with no problems. No hitch extension either, although the tongue jack was pretty close to the spare and while spinning the jack handle to raise/lower the tongue, had to lift the...
  4. I can relate, the older I get. How about you 1980's babies?

63 years old and I've spent a fair share of money over the years and over 25 cars I've owned. Living in SE Michigan, I doubt I am ever going to reach the limitations of my WildTrak. It will and has been on trails in Northern Michigan and camping. As a result, my mods have mostly been cosmetic...
  5. Excited to join you all

I was going to say the same thing; my other two cars are black as is my wife's. I swore I'd never own another black car again, hence why I went with a different color on my Bronco.
  6. Windshield Defense - Any good?

My experience is that it's no different than glass. It is a bit easier if it has been coated with RainX.
  7. Windshield Defense - Any good?

I haven't had any issues getting cleaned off the windshield film on mine.
  8. Windshield Defense - Any good?

Hand Wash Only RainX is supposed to haze when it sets and dries. You then are supposed to wipe the haze off with a clean towel. As the directions state, a clean, DAMP towel makes it easier to get the haze off.
  9. Excited to join you all

Congrats and welcome! Sharp looking rig!
  10. Windshield Defense - Any good?

I also can't speak to this product, but I too have film from Stek (Dynoshield) and also have taken a couple of hits that have left marks in the film. I've had it for a little over a year and my only complaint is that the wipers do skip a bit on the down wipe. To solve that I apply RainX which...
  11. Ford Midsize EV Ranchero Pickup – News & Info

As has been mentioned many times before, most of the people on these sites are people who are performance minded relatively speaking. Whether it's the performance of a sports car or an off-road capable vehicle. FWD has benefits from a packaging standpoint and also better traction and handling...
  12. Painted My Calipers to Make Stock Wheels Look Better

I have done that on past cars, not recently though. As for the Bronco, I can barely see the calipers through the. Wheels on my WT. I do like the stock yellow calipers on my CTS-V.
  13. 2029 GMC Jimmy coming with V8, BOF, removal roof, retro styling to take on Bronco

Slap a supercharger on it. My Roush Stage 3 Mustang has the 5.0 with the 2.3L supercharger on it. Instant torque! 727 hp and it pulls strong. It's actually quite intoxicating. LOL.
  14. Ford Recall 26S30 -- Loose Front Seat Bolts in 2024-2026 Bronco

I'm at the 12K mile mark and not due for an oil change for another 3,000 miles or so. Given that I've been driving my other two cars more during the nice weather, I probably won't be needing an oil change until Sept/October at the earliest. Since I haven't noticed any movement or issues with my...
  15. Infotainment recall download automatically?

My WildTrak (built 11/24) updated on May 16th. I'm assuming you have automatic updates turned on and the vehicle has a Wi-Fi connection when parked.
