EBB stands for Electronic Brake Boost as opposed to vacuum assist brake boost.
This caused lots of problems for us with the 2..7 V6. There are lots of threads about this.
I have a 2021 OBX 2.7 V6 that I tow, I do not remove the fuses.
With the "Software fix" that Ford put out serval years ago the brake boost goes to sleep as soon as you go into neutral tow mode. That's why you get the warnings when you go into and out of neutral tow mode.
I keep the key fob in my pocket while I'm doing the hook up. That way if I walk away with the ignition on the horn will honk a couple of times. Only did it one time way back in the begining.
I towed ours serval times before i putting the LOD brackets on . In fact the LOD brackets were not around when the 6G Bronco's first came out.
Be sure the safety cables are attached to the frame not to the brackets!!
On my 2021 OBX 2.7 the Bronco brake lights are disabled with I put into Tow mode and there is not a electrical connection between the brake/turn signal lamps like in the old days.
After you put your Bronco in Tow Mode press on the brake pedal and see if the brake lights come on.
It appears the 2024 2.3L still has vacuum boost brakes, so it should be the same as any other vacuum boost vehicle has far as flat towing. Just following the instructions in the manual.
By keeping the Fob in your pocket when you leave the Bronco, your will get a friendly couple of honks if you left it in accessory mode when you close the door. Just saying!!

There is a know anomaly that has happen to my 2021 a few times and to other's that have reported it in this forum.
The Electronic Brake Boost will become active, causing the Bronco brakes to lock up when the axillary brake system calls for braking assistance.

Yes that is road curd you are smelling. Turn your Heater/AC off as part of your tow mode setup.
Then do not turn is back on until you put about 20 minutes of heat time back in the engine.
