I have had the one from Goat Fabrication mounted for a couple of years. I appreciate the simple, clean look and it allows me to mount items at the edges of the dash to avoid cluttering everything in the middle. It also works with a USB dash hub to power everything easily.
My Bronco lives outside during the cold winters so I keep a small cooler with Gatorade bottles and emergency food bars in it. The Gatorade supposedly has a lower freezing point than water and the cooler also seems to help it resist freezing.
I would prefer the cross bars on the rack have T slots. Also, has the rack been confirmed to fit all of the painted tops or does it have issues like other racks? I believe it is due to differing depths of the mounting slots of the hardtop.
You can find them on Amazon for a lot less. I have the ones from Mabett. Mine don't see hard use but after a couple of years I have had no issues with them.
We attended our first Bronco gathering at Super Cel West last year. Met some great people, went on some great trail rides. We have our rental booked for this year. But I was very disappointed in the number of manufacturers/retailers present, especially since so many are located in the west.
Here is a video from a few years ago. I don't know how this translates to the eye test on the road but their results are interesting. The 6:40 mark shows the numbers for the DD SS3's.
