  2. Future of the 2.7L?

Do the 2.7 and 3.0 share the same engine mounts? They are basically the same block I believe. Either way I will check & see if anything pops up for a new engine mount on the frame, but if the mounts are common there would be no change there. Same goes for the trans mount, probably no change...

from the pictures posted it appears the wire concern is closer towards the firewall. Any speculation/confirmation there are issues around the air filter box? Curious about those with aftermarket intakes, some are harder to remove than others and some dealers may not remove non factory parts.

  8. My Bronco may be toast… rear ended

happy to hear everyone is ok! Even though this group continues to wade through all the frustrating recalls and nuisance issues, one spot where ford seems to have done an excellent job is how well these trucks hold up during accidents and keeping people safe. Gotta tip your hat to the ford...

  11. Surface Rust Found on Frame (Front Jack Points)

Welcome to the forum @FORDGE37 ! From reading your post you are determined to go down the OCD path - use this product from SEM. This is what we have for touch ups at our plant, it may not be what they use at the location where the Bronco frame is made but it is Ford approved at our division...
