  1. E load vs C load tires - what's your pick?

E-load here. I'm relatively light and don't tow. But I spend a lot of time in the desert and around old mining infrastructure. I've never ran E rated tires before the bronco, but I wasn't around quite as many sharp rocks as before. I'm not sure if I regret it or not, but I got tired of flats...
  2. What's the Biggest Lesson You've Learned Off-Roading?

Seriously. Folks don't pay enough attention to this one. You don't just air down for comfort and traction. It's also to preserve the trail. A few years ago I was out on a trail a bit early. I avoid mud season/snowmelt to avoid tearing things up. It was dry down low and I thought things would be...
  3. OEM+ 22 Badlands 2 Door Build

I'm usually not a fan of the painted tops, but that color combination looks really sharp! Everglade wheels look pretty sharp, too.
  4. Wolfbox HyperFlow X 12V Twin Motor On-Board Air Compressor install

Nice setup, and it's good to see more options in this space! It's interesting (and good) to see them call out a 100% duty cycle on it, unlike most of the cheaper options. They do claim it will handle high heat environments. Where you have it mounted will completely avoid that issue, but that...
  5. Ford Performance Winch Kit

The winch alone is close to that. It's a good deal i.m.o. The modifications for the capable bumper weren't bad I.m.o., though it will require grinding/cutting a tiny bit.
  6. Ford Performance Winch with Sensors (ACC, Camera, and Parking) Works Fine; Parts List and Photos

Now that I'm taking pictures of it, I didn't actually do that good of a job of keeping them high... I should probably put an extra zip tie on to hold them higher. But either way, this hasn't caused problems, fwiw. In this location, they're using the official / pre-drilled holes + clips. (On the...
  7. Ford Performance Winch with Sensors (ACC, Camera, and Parking) Works Fine; Parts List and Photos

Just to chime in with one more: I have the ford performance mount and adaptive cruise control + parking sensors. I've never had any issues with the winch interfering with the adaptive cruise control. I was careful to zip tie wires high, but it's been a non-issue. The winch plate is not easy to...
  8. DIY rear seat delete shelf solution for our dog

If anyone's curious how this has held up, last weekend I finally had to replace the plastic clips that go around the vertical posts to hold the shelf up. They do wear out from bouncing around. But 2 years is a long enough duration for me, and I have extras around regardless.
  9. 2-door non-Sasquatch Black Diamond, dune-only use, what should I prioritize for a smoother ride and less risk of damage?

Honestly, you're going to be hard-pressed to find upgraded shock options that are still stock height for your vehicle. Most are going to assume "stock height" means relative to sasquatch or non-sasquatch badlands. I'm not sure you'll be able to find off-the-shelf larger diameter shock body...
  10. 2 Door roof rack (clamshell only) recommendation

Yeah, the 4-door hardtop has a second slot like the back 2-door slot where the front metal clamps go. So the foam position is different for it. The 2-door only has a slot in the back, so the front clamp has to be a bit different.
  11. 2 Door roof rack (clamshell only) recommendation

Sorry for the delay! The foam isn't supposed to go into the seam. It's supposed to go on the "flat" part of the mount where it contacts the outside of the hardtop. Only bare metal goes into the seam, so far as I know. Or at least that's how I installed things, anyway. You might reach out to...
  12. 2 Door roof rack (clamshell only) recommendation

Do you have an unpainted hard top or a painted one? The painted ones have different dimensions for the slots and there's a different rack coming out for those, I think. Otherwise, it's tight, but it fits well once it's under pressure on mine. There's no slot for it like there is in the back...
  13. remote features disabled

I had my sport on a battery tender for 6 months due to a move/etc. I think there's nothing you can do to prevent that message. It's time based rather than battery based as far as I can tell. A start alone doesn't seem to be enough to reset it either. The vehicle has to move, so far as I could...
  14. A Real-World Durability Test You Can't Replicate in a Lab! ORACLE Flush Taillights on KOH-Winning Bronco Raptor

I'll ask the dumb question that is probably answered elsewhere already.... Is that a DR rather than a raptor? Or just a very custom 2-door build with a raptor label on it?
  15. Is there an inner tailgate protector/bumper/cover outhere?

I've been half tempted to spray rhino liner all over the inside of mine... It's a real issue. I have ppf everywhere else, but not on the tailgate. And the tailgate is missing a crazy amount of paint. I complained recently about the wear where the seals contact, but the scratches that aren't...
