@BlarneyStoned I'd like to convert to the B&O before deciding to get the mObridge dsp/amp. To just convert to the B&O, would it just be a component swap with FORScan changes, or would there be any ACM wiring harness difference between the two?
you're saying to upgrade the ACM to a pre-2025 ACM with A2B, and then go with the mObridge DSP/AMP? I'm not opposed to this. Out of curiosity, what speakers do you have tunes available for?
It's not that it's a no go, I just struggle with aftermarket upgrades. I feel like it never sounds the way I want it to. Even with the B&O conversion though, I'd be open to the mObridge DSP/AMP to further better the system. The problem is, this requires the A2B protocol, so at the very least...
I have a 2023 Bronco with the base audio system, and I've significantly struggled to make it sound the way I want it to. I've upgraded speakers, added an amp and sub, but it never sounds right. I was recently in a friend's 2025 with the B&O, and it sounded great to me. Realistically, it's the...
I’m hoping someone here can help clarify the differences between the base audio systems in the 2023 vs. 2026 model years.
I bought a 2023 earlier this year, and honestly, the sound system was pretty underwhelming. I ended up swapping the speakers out for Kickers and upgrading the rear speakers...
Has anyone tried making a 'micro' backup key for their Bronco? I want to take the board out of a spare fob and desolder just the chip that allows the truck to start in the center console slot. I’m curious if that chip works on its own once removed from the board, or if it needs the rest of the...
This.
Every time I see someone brush this issue off or rush to defend Ford, I can’t help but think one of two things is happening:
They’ve been lucky enough not to be affected by it yet, so they’re choosing to bury their heads into the sand and ignore the problem.
They’re a Ford employee...
Oh I know it's not going to happen, but if Ford isn't going to actually fix the design flaw, they should be required to keep replacing them. I've seen people needing MIC hardtop replacements on Bronco's that aren't even a year old yet. Getting it replaced under warranty doesn't help much...
Yeah, an extended warranty doesn’t really cut it unless it’s a true lifetime warranty that covers replacement regardless of age or mileage. Beyond that, Ford needs to address the design flaws with the MIC top and replace the cracking tops with the updated version—or at least compensate owners so...
This sucks. I was getting planning on ordering my Bronco within the next year. I can't stand MGV or leather, so this is deal breaker for me. Might have to wait and see what the new Tacoma pricing looks like.
