Thank you! I said that because I actually saw a Prius heading into the end of the trail the last time I was there. The driver thought it was comical as well.

My understanding is that it’s the same axle across the board with different gearing. I’m happy to re-gear but don’t think that will solve anything

I thought the purpose of me replacing the UCA's, tie rods, etc was to correct the geometry with the suspension lift.

I didn't want to create bad press with my post. I only wanted to make others aware that if they intend to run 37's there's a great chance they're going to get denied warranty if they run into this problem. Since it seems that it's impacting a lot more than just myself, I think we will see more...

I’ll have to wait to get more details. My truck was built in November and I bought it in December.

I just received news that it will be covered and replaced under warranty. Do not quote me on this but the response I received was that the Ford field rep has seen a number of these with the exact same issue and it is believed to be a bad batch of rear assemblies.

No one is asking for sympathy. I’m making others aware if they intend to run 37’s they may very well need to replace the rear axle assembly because the truck can’t handle it despite how it’s marketed. Read the post next time

I think the whole tube is twisted yes and more noticeable by the wheel hub. What I find strange is that I don’t feel it at all driving it. And if I look in my side mirror the tire isn’t bouncing or anything. It drove smoothly to the dealer

They’re saying it’s bent. That torque caused the tube to break at the welds and that it’s bent close to the wheel hub. Not sure if you can see it in the photo. It was more noticeable on the ground

I’m told the axle tube is warped. So welding it will do no good. The welds aren’t blown out, just leaking. The truck is drivable. It’s actually not even noticeable when driving

The suspension mods on my truck aren’t janky and the truck isn’t abused. It has 1200 miles on it. My post doesn’t say anything about beware of dealers denying warranty because of suspension mods. It’s at my company’s ford store now where they said a field engineer will come out and look at it. It could take a few weeks or up to a month before they come out.
