Those Toyotas you see in Africa and East Asia are not "Americanized" nor "Europeanized" vehicles. They don't have the "junk" required for safety and pollution that are required of US/EU spec trucks. Those trucks don't even have A/C in them and will take a beating.

It’s 6 miles from my front door and the crossing is a known issue by any OTR and long trucks. There are plenty of signs warning drivers also. Bad decision by a truck driver.
