If you're in a situation trying to resolve repairs & reimbursements, it's good to know you are not totally at the mercy of Ford Corporate responses
If the problems are not being resolved in reasonable ways, some people file a Case w BBB and let them arbitrate - w great results
- if you agree w...
Around here the PDI's are pretty extensive. When mine delivered in May I sent the dealer a good long list of things to please check, and they said absolutely, we already have those in our regular checklist
lol . .
Eric, but think about your mechanic and what they deal with
these RT Max LIFT struts push the hood totally out of the way, and your mechanic doesn't have to wrangle around the hood-prop all the time
You know how it goes, you make the mechanic's job easier maybe you get better...
Much thanks again Mr. Bartz, this COVP looks great way to filter bogus orders and help existing order people establish priority.
Couple questions come to mind
Next month when they re-open Order Bank for '23 Conversion of Existing Orders :
A) Will some dealers try to sneak New orders into the...
not presently
Q4 Ford plans to re-evaluate - see if good time to re-open the Order Bank, which has been closed to new customers since early March
next month Existing Order-Holders can Convert their Orders to '23
the RT Max LIFT struts are fantastic - easy install on my '22 Bronco
- really lift hood out of the way nicely
- & no further need for OEM hood-prop - I removed it
have RT hood struts on '90 4Runner also - perfect
Thanks again this video. Last Friday was just rumor. Now today it's official. These COVP procedures and delayed retail opening look great way to help existing order people establish priority. Have to commend the people at Ford making these changes to get things organised
Around here the DL and...

A) STOP scheduling Out of Order
B) finally ramp production - ' a rising tide . . . '
- year ago they said MAP would ramp up and make 1,200 Broncos a day. Never happened. Production still 300-400 w many problems...
Hi Gary,
as you mentioned it is turning over - starter sounds okay in video
in B6g there are several cases of fuel pump failure in the 2.7L config
- can search this topic here in the forum
this would be my guess

? line ?
? in order ?
there never was a line
scheduling was never in order - not some computer ' Sorting Algorithm '
the manual ' Scheduling Sort ' was just a leaky sieve overrun w special favors, dealer shenanigans, and who knows
since year ago we've seen many new walk-ins being scheduled in...
right, could be different process this year - last year sort of a mess
trouble is Ford sends these procedures out to the dealers and lots of em just ignore it
- example, last October lots of customers had to ' educate ' their dealer about updating the Priority Code from 99 to something 19 or...
