Obviously like-like are preferred. A go kart is super fun, better than any car, but not a fair comparison. I think it is how it "feels". I hate feelings, but an open air go kart at 13yo going maybe 25mph sliding on a dirt road is more fun than a Integra GS-R going 137mph on a country road...
I'm not a Tesla fan, but electrics have crazy 0-60. I don't track my cars, however I do accelerate away from stoplights or use entrance ramps or lane reductions frequently which is where I care about performance.
On another thread I said my favorite car to drive was a 1993 Honda Civic LX 5MT...
A female driving a sedan?!?!
I don't know any female around us that drive anything but a crossover/suv. Once they get used to being high and encased in steel and realize it drives nicely without extreme body roll and need to muscle it through corners females rarely go back.
We started off with...
It is a SUV/Truck mileage will suck. Only SMV(soccer mom vehicle) crossovers and their hybrid cousins get decent mileage.
My wife loves her Bronco as the replacement for her XTerra. I inherited the XTerra. We have 40k miles so far and no issues at all.
The hard top is fine, but the soft...
I'm confused.
I love MT, but with modern cars the automatic is ALWAYS faster in any 0-60 or quarter mile test so one doesn't purchase the manual for performance. Electrics are faster than most supercars but that doesn't make a Ferrari less fun to drive than a Tesla Plaid. It is the...
My wife runs it on 3(max) directly on the vinyl all year even during the summer in Chicagoland. Personally during the winter I do 1(lowest) and then turn it off after 5-10 minutes.
So sad that even going a few miles I feel the need to turn around if I have left my phone at home. I try to be without my phone on a regular basis. Either walking at the dog park, on a run, or at the healthclub.
Always coupons on the Ford site. Last one we got enough free points to get us another oil change later plus they do pick up and drop off which my wife values.
We wouldn't bought the dual tops.
The switch isn't that easy and Chicagoland has marginal weather. It was a waste of money beyond the fact we scratched some of the paint in the transfer.
My wife who drives it says the soft top is considerably louder which means phone calls are challenging...
86 mile roundtrip to Burlington, Wisconsin. Skipped 25+ dealers nearer to us in Chicagoland as this dealership had a new 7MT for us to test drive. We liked that Bronco, but it had all the bells and whistles and my wife wanted a basic one with hardtop, heated seats, and a 7MT. We ordered...
2024 Big Bend 40k miles. We haven't noticed anything and this is our first American manual transmissions we should be persnickety coming from Japanese cars/suvs.
We've done no special fluid changes or anything but 5k-ish oil changes and 10k-ish tire rotations.
