Mods never increase value, especially when the value of the vehicle is chiefly in the fact that it was a very early production build. Another Bronco ruined.
Have you considered not ruining the front end of your Bronco? Itās just a typical plastic frame and they drill holes into the front of your Bronco to attach it.
If you really want one, though, PM your address and Iāll ship mine to you no charge.
The price is never coming back down to reality; Ford will raise the Badlands price into near-Raptor territory. Also, Ford wonāt be able to figure out why dealers have so much lot rot.
No need to get all sensitive; it was just a joke. But there are way more than three threads about the driveline bump, thud, or clunk. Looks like you may have narrowed down the solution to the rear driveshaft. Best of luck.
This question is about as common as the question, āIs the extended warranty worth it?ā
My front drive shaft was replaced long ago and it didnāt make any difference. 150k mile full extended warranty puts my mind at ease.
Had this bump since day one and even had the drive shaft (I think the front) replaced back in ā21, Iām now convinced thatās just how it is because it does not cause any actual problems. I donāt even notice it anymore. 54k miles now.
Too bad youāre coming from Northern California, because your route totally misses a lot of good stuff in Southern Utah like Zion, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands, and my personal favorite the Dixie National Forest.
Since youāre spending multiple nights in some places, maybe cut a couple of...
Youāre looking at $12k in parts just for the Icon Stage 5 alone. Thatās 25% of what I paid for my entire Bronco.
Letās be honest, this is not a smart move. If youāre going to drop dime like that on mods, start with a base Badlands for $10k less than a Wildtrak and you get an electronic sway...
No. You just paid an extra $21k over the base price for a Wildtrak. Throw away you Wildtrak components and you just paid $21k plus replacement costs for the Wildtrak sticker.
