This is a great video showing the long term impact these plastic restorers have. The solution finish recommended here earlier lasted a respectable 180 days. "That black stuff" and "Wipe New" look the best to me after 11 months in the sun. Regardless, I don't think ANY of these plastic restorers...

Under the accessories there is an option for steel full body bash plates. Would that give the base the same protection as the black diamond? I never realized that was an option on the base.

Yes it is standard with the Sync 4 system. Which is in every bronco including the base.
