Brown Mountain is pretty fun. Definitely had some moments myself the last time I was out there. Might hit that this weekend...been meaning to get out there again.

  7. CVF High Mount Intercooler install and testing

Is there no room up behind the grill to relocate the ACC module? Asking because I'm thinking about going with this high mount intercooler myself in prep to do the Hammer Built hidden winch setup
  8. Change Driveline Fluids Early!

Started my fluid change series. It's been hot and humid here in NC these past few days so I've decided to do the changes in intervals. Saturday was Engine Oil / Filter (worried myself a bit because I didn't pay attention to the torque wrench click when tightening the filter housing and went a...
  9. 2dr RockSliders RCI or MetalTech 4x4

I've been looking at rocksliders for my 2 door and I've narrowed it down to these 2 vendors. They both seem well built and from good companies. To those that have these installed, do they come out far enough to let one pivot around say a tree / large rock without damaging the doors as the...
  10. Looks like I get to learn how to remove some scratches

I'm currently debating the RCI or Metal-Tech 4x4 sliders. Both look to provide good protection for both offroad and idiots in parking lots :)
  11. Looks like I get to learn how to remove some scratches

So after a bit more investigation and just running my fingernail / hand across the area, I realized they had dented the door as well (not a visible dent, but one you can feel) so I've decided to just let insurance handle it and get it done right.
  12. Looks like I get to learn how to remove some scratches

Definitely will be going slow and careful. On the other hand, if I muck it up, it's only on the door, so I could just pop the door off, drop it off to be repainted and pick it up when finished :D
  13. Looks like I get to learn how to remove some scratches

Currently looking at either RCI or MetalTech 4x4 for the 2 door sliders...both look to provide good protection against this in the future (if it was some blind parking lot driver) and are frame mounted.
  14. Looks like I get to learn how to remove some scratches

possibly...I've just wetted down the area and removed any surface dust...my photo taking skills aren't the best. While wet, most of those blemishes appear to fade away, so I'm hoping I can buff those out. Been watching plenty of youtube videos that show various methods. I have a fairly high...
  15. Looks like I get to learn how to remove some scratches

So this weekend I was running my normal errands and didn't notice this wonderful addition until I was already home. Based on the height and pattern I have to guess it was a shopping cart dragged across the passenger side door. I park at the far end of the lots as I don't mind walking and am in...
