"Retail" in the dealership world is a sold order with a customers name on it, as opposed to a stock unit that is not already sold.

Another update: Ford is now telling us these previews are wrong. They will schedule only retail soft tops this week. I guess we'll see tomorrow.

Update: preview numbers look very similar to yesterday. 35 instead of 25. Only retail builds, none for stock. And only four door with Advanced 4x4 (E5D and E5E). All are OB, BL, WT or FE with High or Lux pkg. Almost every one with MIC.

Some of the smallest to the largest and everything in between. Why?

I work for a company that orders vehicles for over 100 Ford dealers. We just got results of the preview (dry run). Only 10% of our dealers have even one previewing to schedule this week, and those are mostly First Edition. Previews can change dramatically, so we're hoping for better news...
