Found it!
āEngine on due to outside air temperatureā
I guess auto start stop doesnāt work if itās too hot outside? Itās 92 here at the moment.
I donāt know why, but Iāve dug around for the AS/S menu, and I canāt find it. š¤·āāļø
kind of aggravating that Ford didnāt test further when they replaced the battery last Saturday.
My Ford dealership checked the battery, and it was, indeed, going bad. They replaced it under warranty. Thanks to everyone for their kind help.
Iām going to the Bronco Off-Rodeo in the Texas Hill Country this Friday. Hopefully, itāll be fun. Thankful to have a new battery for the trip. š
Thanks to everyone. Iāll look into the battery. Gotta use the AC in DFW in the summer. Iām enjoying not having to shut the āfeatureā off manually. š
it is indeed hot, and my AC is running all the time this time of year. Interesting that I never had the issue last summer. Iāll look at the battery, too.
I have a 2024 Badlands with 19K miles, and the auto stop/start isnāt working. While Iām enjoying not having to switch it off manually, I wonder if this is indicative of another problem or problems that maybe havenāt surfaced yet.
Beautiful! I came from a Wrangler, too. I had my 2013 Rubicon for 11.5 years, but I wanted a Bronco as soon as they came out. Finally got my Badlands in 2024: itās significantly more comfortable to drive than my Wrangler (especially the driverās seat).
I do love your Raptor. Itās a minor thing...
I would have waited a year and no bought a 2025 with the Raptor style electronic instrument display and the painted hardtop.
I still love mine, but it would be nice to have the upgraded display and a top that I wouldnāt have to worry about.
